  1. I had trouble getting the wire off the spool, it was wound around it self for about the first 75ft. Couldn't get it off the spool with out getting kinks in it.
  2. I posted earlier last month about having a problem with Torpedo seven strand wire I picked up at S&R bait& tackle who contacted Torpedo about my post,who in turn wanted to talk to me about the problem. I contacted them and I explained the trouble I had and yesterday I got another spool of wire in the mail. If you have had trouble with Torpedo products contact there customer service , they want to keep us happy.
  3. I fished out of I Bay Wed. and had 48deg at 60fow and with the south wind today and tomorrow the temp should be around 40-50fow. I hope.
  4. Try the wrist bands they work and don't put you to sleep.

  6. Went out of Sandy Creek west this morning, it was no fun out there, I'd say 4fters when I pulled lines and headed in.Went out to 220fow no hits temp was 56deg. to 100fow. Guess it wasn't to bad there was two 14ft, boats out there.

  8. Well that will give you something to talk about for a while, to bad you didn't atleast get a look at it.
  9. If you have a swivel base you could swing the rigger to one side to land your fish with out a problem. Now that reverse thing I don't know about.
  10. As long as you have a long arm over the lower unit you won't have any trouble. Good luck.
  11. Don't want to take away from that dandy laker you got but thats a dandy perch the boy has there also. Going to try and take a run down there this week, LO may be a little ruff for my boat .
  12. WTG nice brown, I can't help you find fish there I'm to far east of there. Most of my fish have come off the rigger at 60-70 ft. also but the wire is doing its share. Oh theres a power plant out there at Olcott. Good luck.

The motor started acting up so we called it a day. You couldn't ask for a better day out there today,going to be a nice one tomorrow.

Set up there and headed north. Brian took one side and I took the other, ran two riggers and two wire divers, spoons and spinn Dr.s -fly's , and the contest began, in about an hour Brian had me 4to zip. Time to change em, pulled the white glow spinnie and wonderbread fly to green dot spinnie and green hammer fly on rigger and gold-yellow attacker Mag on wirer,in about an hour it was 4 to 4,lakers and kings, well Brian wasn't taking that lying down so he pulled in two more steelhead, 6--4 well I pulled in another laker but we had to pull lines and head in while he was still ahead, I know I could have got another one but nooo we had to go in. The lakers were the big ones,Wheres the big kings, didn't mark any big fish. IT was a great morning fishing with Brian, hope we can get together again, I know I can beat him. ====================

    White Bass

    I have cough and seen then up around 20ins in Sandy Pond years ago and in Oneida lake. Cough a few on a spoon about 1\2" long. Don't know if there still around, that was a least 50 years ago. There fun to catch, good luck.

Marked bait down 120ft. nothing happing out to 200ft. changed up the lures and continued north, nice ride so far. made it out to 320ft no hits,we changed lures again and turned south, marked some fish down 150ft, some bait at 130ft,dropped the rigger to 140ft.wire out 125 and 150ft., trolled back to 100fow and pulled the lines and headed in. Hoping some one did better. ====================
