  10. LundSSS I fish out of Sandy yesterday, the temp was around 55 at 40ft. and 42 at 60ft. Kind of slow for me also, boated one shaker king and lost a screamer, both on a diver with a green dolphin NK 28. The east wind blow us west about 15 miles, I think we got the fish off the Oak. We pulled in a marina for directions and were told to go 10miles east and that worked for us. Got a nice king this morning 25+ lbs. will post when I get the pic. Good luck in the morning. Mike

Going south its the first right turn off 15a past 390. Mike.
  14. Nice fish.
  15. I like the slide diver to get the extra distance between the diver and SD and fly. It's a pain in the ars to set up a slider on a 10ft diver rod in a 16ft. boat. I think they work better when the temp is above 70ft, they don't get down as far as the big divers but they will slide all the way to the SD if you let them but I think its better to stop then 2or3ft short of the spinnie, less mess.
  16. IT all way's a challenge Solo no matter whats on the line. .
  17. Go by the rigger counter so you will know where to put your diver rods. Have a good trip and good luck.
  18. Thanks for the warning. Do you think that's why its so much cheeper?
  19. I all ways off set my treble hooks with a pair of needle nose pliers, about 1\16 of an inch from the shank and then sharpen them. You will still drop a few. I also think putting a few more bead in front of the hooks on the atomic fly's would drop the treble an inch or so back and give a better hook up. I've never had a treble break from off setting it.
  20. I thought I read a while back there was a problem with one of the wire lines and torpedo could be the one. Its on the reel now so I'll see how it holds up. Thanks for getting back to me.
  21. I went to S-R this morning and bought the last 1000ft. of seven strand. It will be the last torpedo I'll buy. For some reason the wire was wound around it self and you couldn't get it off the spool and onto the reel It ended up a mess and I ended up cutting about 25yds off to straighten it out. Never had any trouble with Mason. Any one else have trouble with it.
  22. Tcon, I had to get that skunk smell off the boat from Sunday. I never had a hit.
  23. Luke, you gunna wait till they quit biting and then want to go out.
