  1. Wake up Ray, your dreaming again. Oh, good luck.
  2. I'm thinking you could run one of those boats off the big boards one on each side and one off a back rigger, now that I think about it you could tie to the boats with out the boards. You could still run three lines off each boat and the boatmen could run inline boards on the outside, I'm not sure what the center boats running, Hey!!! who's driving the main boat???? More lines more lines........ Oh,use a solarpanel to keep up the battery. If you need some one to run the boat send PM.
  3. Got the boat in a little after 3:00 pm, talked to rolmops for a minute and headed west, nothing but mud from IBay to the genny, ran the boards through the crap in front of the river, then we pulled the lines to clean the crap off. Found better color west of the river and got into fish up around the old power plant, hooked up to 6 or 8 huge fish and lost them,( never lose a little one). the boys ganged up on a small CoHo and got him into the boat, two small, back he went. Sure got cold when the sun got down. Well we didn't have to clean fish and we had a good time. and here's one for the tow boat. . Good job rolmops.
  4. I'm in no Yamaha junk for me /
  5. Thanks for the info Sean, think I'll give it another try in a week or so. Nice web site keep up the good work. Mike.
  6. Troutman Your right about the water color it would have been a great picture. I don't know where the hills are but I did see one boat out about half way down the lake Could that have been you? How did you make out, hope you got into them. . Maybe I read your post wrong and you weren't fishing just working. .
  7. I don't think so.
  8. I made plans to fish out of I Bay this morning but I think there was to much wind to fish out of the 16ft. today, so I decided to head down to Canandaigue and try out of Woodville. Got on the water about 8am, through out 2 boards, before I could get a line out my partner had a board line into the prop and cut off the board, my fault he's new at this so I only screemed a little . There was a lot of mud and wind on the east side so I moved back to the west side and worked the shore inside 100fow and never moved a rod, had two flat lines with sticks out and a rigger down 90ft. and a dipse out 240ft. Didn't mark anything , moved out to about 170fow and started marking bait down deep, I never fished there before so I don't know the land marks , my pardner he thought the hill on the east shore was bear hill. We turned and went back down the west side In 180-190fow changed the flat lines to spoons and put a spinny and fly down 90ft, and put a spinny and fly out 300ft. on the wire, speed from 1.8 to 2.8sog. OMG fish on off the rigger, nice laker about 6-7 lbs. No skunk . We stuck it out till about 3:30 and called it a day. It was cold, windy and snow squalls all day but a good day fishing. Mike.
  9. that's me.
  10. Misty,I'm driving a 97 chevy pickup with the 4.3 v6, its pushing 170k miles has all ways held 70lbs of oil pressure. I've only seen it drop to 40psi. about twice. I run 10w30 in the truck. That 25w40 your using will keep your pressure up at low RPMs 600. If you want to see the gage move switch to 5w30.My Baha had twin 305 v8s and if I dropped down to 600rpm it would lose oil pressure, I switched oil to 20w40 and it never went bellow 40lbs psi. Hope this helps.
  11. OK Rolmop, Crazy Yankee posted a picture of me at the work site on his twitter page if you can find it. He got my best side. Nice shot Rick.
  12. Rolmops, It started out pretty wet but it was an enjoyable morning working with Sam, Bulldog, ken and Rick. Seems like the same people are there each year and point the newbie's in the right direction. They had a good turn out for such a crappy day. Sorry I didn't meet you there.
  13. Went out Tues. morning, cruised around the north side of the bridge and never marked a fish. Went south of the bridge east side of the bay, marked fish dropped anchor and caught two keepers and two dinks. My partner came down with a stomach bug so we had to call it a day and get him home. We were in 32fow south of the wall. .
  14. Grasshopper, try reversing the boards, just put eye bolts in and run the port side off the starboard side. You may be able to reassemble them to get what you need.Hope this helps.
  15. Now that's what I like to hear.
  16. Spray a little gas into the carbs, and see if it will fire. Did you check the fuel air mix screw settings before you removed them? You may have to go back through the carbs and check the settings like on the floats and make sure the floats are good. Good luck.
  17. Good job,I had to quit, I couldn't handle the lines and the boat alone. I got the skunk off the boat this morning, same place you got them.
  18. Dewey, did you have the power head off, if not I don't think you have anything to worry about. The driver tip just fell into the outside housing .You could use a telescoping magnet and fish it out if its long enough. Don't worry, if I'm wrong someone who knows better will straiten me out. . .
  19. Try your local tackle shop. .
  20. Gill-T, Borderline moved it, . Oh, you should have put riggers on your boat or at least put a rod or to and a can of worms in it. .
