Checked out south end of Ibay this morning at the sportsmen club. Theres 3"s of ice just past the end of the docks, after that it goes to 1.5"s in a hurry and its all down hill from there. Be safe guys.

The north east end of Ibay is iced over this morning. I'd say tuesday may be safe ice there.

Good thought Ray, I Put my 16ft. contrapshion in Ibay a couple of times last week and got some nice perch. Keep them coming Mister we need all the help we can get up here.

gokudl3, I was there this afternoon. The bay is iced up all the way out past the first set of channel markers. If the ice does break up the wind may plug the ramp up with ice if its S.W. I think you would have a better chance mon. or tues. or the weekend after next. If its not a long drive try sunday. good luck. Mike.

Hi PaulADK, I owened a 1962 17ft. Arkansas traveler cuddy with a 105hp Chrysler O.B. Had all the power it needed. Good luck and make sure you get one that runs on unleaded gas.

If they can find food in the Genny they can find it anywhere. The ones I talked to had fish.

The boat launch is open and the perch are biting. Good luck.

How about this, each guest bring a five gallon can to the fishing party. I don't think the coast guard would mind. Oh don't forget to put gas in it. Happy fishing ho.ho.ho.

Legacy,the full moon was Oct.25 this year so the rut should have been going full bore by Nov.5th. but I think the warm weather slowed it up, there was still some going on the first week of gun season. They should have been in chase mode the 27th. I saw a big increase in scrap activity the second week of Nov.The first week of Nov. should have been right on the money for the start of the rut, Going Deep. Hope you guys had a good season. WW.

Gentlemen,I don't have a problem shooting doe. With my two party tags archery and B.P. I can take four doe,but I hunt 8H-8M and 7 something. That spreads it out. I think taking all your deer off one plot is foolish,but I hunt the town of Mendon and I don't think you can do to much harm there. I don't hunt 3.5 year olds,I hunt for meat not for the wall. By the way I very seldom fill all my tags,I think doe are more alert then bucks in general. What I'm saying is you can putt a hurting on an area without N.Ps. There maybe fewer hunters but I think most of them are more knowledgeable .

Fishman08 and Diversion, I think your confusing Party tags with nuisance permits. I don't think the DEC issues nuisance permits to a hunt club, but the members can get party tags. JollyII in 64 I bought a house out side of Fulton N.Y. at that time if you found a deer track you had a very good day. By 75 or so the deer hunting exploded and there was a ton of coyotes and coy dogs in the area.

Hey Mr.Happy,you forgot the road kill and winter kill. I'm sure road kill far out number hunter kill. The warm winters lately may have changed the winter deer movement,maybe they stop yarding up for a few years and a bad winter could play hell with them. Nows the time to see whats really out there. Most of the hunters don't go out the end of the season,just us die hards. The deer get back to a normal movement and that makes for a good BP season,or not.
