Well if you have fished this season out of Wright's Landing in Oswego I'm sure you had to deal with the lack of a cleaning station. The grinder is has been un-operational all year. Empty promises of repair have come and gone. Its time to start pressuring the powers that be to get our cleaning station fixed. Please call or email these persons and voice your opinion about the broken cleaning station. 2016 Salmon School by LOTSA (coming very soon)
Primetime Pete replied to dreamsteelie's topic in Open Lake Discussion
First let me say thanks to Pete for the kind words. Can't say I even feel worthy of standing on the same stage with the likes of Capt. Pete Alex and Capt. George Freeman. Two of the most accomplished and respected Captains anywhere on the great lakes. Next I would like to say thanks to LOTSA what a honor it is to be asked to be part of the seminar at the premier great lakes fishing event! I am very excited to be a part of the LOTSA Salmon School weekend January 23rd and 24th. I plan on bringing a "eastern end" influence to the salmon school seminar that I hope all the attendees will be able to add to there arsenal. I have been fishing Lake Ontario since 1988 and for many years in one of the smallest "rides" on the tournament circuit. I will be sharing the many small boat tactics that led to my tournament victories (as well as some defeats). Looking forward to a information filled weekend! Hope to meet you there! A-TOM-MIK Invitational 4 year tally
Primetime Pete replied to A-TOM-MIK's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
Thanks to Tom and Steph for putting on a first class event. Boy time goes by fast I remember Tom talking about starting the invitational years ago and here we are with 4 events in the books! Never too late to get a team together and ask Tom for an invite!! More teams the better! Come out and test your skills against the very best fisherman on Lake Ontario. Look at this years 2nd place team (Liquid/Trouble) not a "pro" team so to speak but rather a bunch of weekend guys who put it all together for one day! Congrats to Del and Greg and the rest of the teams that competed this year. So get your friends together, form a team, catch some kings and win some cash!! Looking forward to next year! -
I carry Benadryl on board because I am allergic to shellfish and the fleas cause my eyes to water sinuses to clog and throat to get tight. Heavy flea season can be a chore!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Well had this guy show up last Friday and its been a chess match for a couple of hunts between the windy weather and trying to put myself in the right place to get a crack at him. Well yesterdays pm hunt it all came together right before dusk. The big bodied 8pt came out into the clover food plot and proceeded to "sneak" right over towards my stand to check the does that were in front of me. He was moving so fast coming at me I was having trouble holding the range finder on him. Finally he slowed and I ranged him at 33yrds. I had to grunt at him three times to try and stop him. He paused for a moment and I squeezed a shot off. The shot was true and I watched as he bolted about 30 yards and then plowed to the ground. I got down and walked over to him and couldn't get over the size of him. My biggest archery buck.
