Entry forms are available at canandaiguachamber.com. I picked up ours at suttons. All proceeds benefit camp good days & special times and mercy flight central. It's $15 per person. Prize money is $1000, $500, $300, $150, $50 and $100 for largest rainbow. It's a very good tournament that benefits some great causes.
I agree with fishstix. I have the FCV 600L and love it. I also have an eagle fishmark 320 on the back of the boat that is great for the price. I believe gander mt. has them for around $120.
We finally placed a fish in the LOC and missed another one by a couple ounces. Took 18th with a 21.14lb king. For some reason my old man always seems to catch the biggest fish of the day for us.... [/img]
On the west side down by the bluff try about 40 to 60 FOW for lakers. In the early spring we have always done very well down there. Scorpion stingers are also doing well on the south end for brownies. We try to get the planer as close to the dropoff as we can. Good luck!!!!
A few years ago we had a 16'6" sea nymph with a 25 hp and a 6hp kicker. We called them and we were told that length is not a big issue but the prop on the 25hp should be removed that way there would be no problems. We have seen DEC and the city of rochester guys on the south launch together. The dec was checking licences and the roch. guys were checking boats.
Mike......when we bought that crestliner you said you were going to upgrade to a larger boat. That 14' doesn't look like much of an upgrade.. Great pics and fish!!!
I'm looking to get my hands on a board to mount 3 riggers off my transom. Preferably aluminum..... Any old one that someone has kicking around the garage or a contact for a custom made. Thanks in advance for any help.
Thinking about heading out to Bass Pro in Auburn this weekend. Anyone know what kind of salmon/trout selection they have out yet? My wife gave me permission to go buy some of the things I REALLY NEED!!!!
Thanks guys and congrats to all those who had a productive bow season. The freaking "can" only works for me once or twice a year but when it does it is an awsome tool. Yankee, as far as the rack goes, no it is not my biggest but the body on this deer was by far the largest I have ever had the honor of harvesting. Anyways, best of luck to everybody during the firearms season!!!!!
Just thought I would give the "local" guys a shot at buying these riggers before they went off to ebay. I have two mag 10's for sale that are in very good condition. They come with bases and releases and both have dual rod holders. $500.00

I have a couple spots remaining in my 2000sq' block barn. Anyone interested please drop me a pm. I am looking for boats that are fully insured and under 22'.

Thanks guys. This new boat is the best. We have made two trips so far in her, one out of Rochester and one on Canandaigua. She has done a great job on keeping our fishwell full:D. We used to have a 21.5' Trophy and that boat does not even compare to this one. I never would have thought that an alumimum could be so stable in rough water. I am now a believer in Sabre's!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went out on the south end, fished from the "white rock" to vine valley. Our best screen was in 160FOW to 180FOW. We had a bad landing percentage.....6 for 12, kept dropping um off the wire. The mnt. dew spinny with packer fly was very hot, out around 290 to 340. Stinger wonderbread took a couple down 120' on the rigger. Even caught a fat little rainbow on a stinger watermelon before first light. We managed to revive and release 3 fish but 3 others ended up being dinner

Fished the Oak on sat. and had a banner day. Three of us went 12 for 13, all kings between 18 and 26lbs. Hammer fly and cut bait dominated for us, both behind green e-chips. Riggers down 90' and wire out anywhere between 240 to 320. My old man wanted to set up another wire rig so he went to bass pro and bought this wire that is coated....me in all my wisdom said that stuff was crap and he should take it back, little did I know that his crap wire was the best flea repelant that I have ever seen. That stuff is the best....left it in the water all day and no fleas AT ALL. I was changing out the other two wires every hour and they had 2 to 3 feet of fleas on them. The coated wire also took 6 fish with the hammer fly!!!! Since I was the only one on board that had a derby ticket we could not weigh the 26lber......damn!!!!
