Great to see a Sodus Pro-Am event in the works again. Even better if they could contact/work with Oswego Pro-Am tournament organizers and get a East end cup again. Might even standardize the Pro-Am rules the same for both East end Pro-Ams and finaly see what that does to tournament enrollment amongst the local charter fleets that have been sitting out. Ditto to what Vince said. Oswego is a "Memory Maker" and "Dream Crusher" port for sure. Our biggest Musky (ONLY MUSKY) was caught in a Pro-Am there. BIG THANKS to everyone mentioned here in keeping this event alive. I hope the every day conversations/cooperation keep happening amongst organizers. You guy's really have a chance here to combine the old way and new way of Pro-Am thinking, and turning it into a SUPER HYBRED PRO-AM MODEL PRODUCT. I was contacted many years ago by a company that must catch fish from Lake Ontario for testing. The deal was they would hire/charter my REBEL CHARTERS to catch 3 species of Lake Ontario fish EVERY YEAR. They could be any 3 different species i could catch. ANY size & Any species-warm or cold water (they carried D.E.C. permits & permission to do this testing) ALL fish had to be caught WEST of the Genesee River. The charter was over as soon as 3 species were caught. This company is hired by the Somerset power plant parent Co. to test contamination levels of Lake Ontario fish, to see if the plant had any ill effects on surrounding bodies of plant water. Since it was always a week day charter I passed it on to a good friend/dock mate charter boat in Sandy Creek. I never did ask to see where the results could be seen, and this testing still goes on to this day. This year i will try to get copies of this study. BUT I did learn you can make numbers/results work into ANY outcome you want. Jerry REBEL CHARTERS

You are correct young man Chad. That is REBEL II in the background on the railway/tram system that went up & down into Lake Ontario--- after school was out of course. Jerry I still find worn/sand blasted parts from that motor after a strong North east blow washes the gravel down. That boat ALWAYS pulled to the right after that Hurricane..............

Ray, Great deer again. Everyone wants higher "score" and older years of age. BUT you just showed a great example of what BIG bucks need. 3 things: FOOD/habitat Genetics (cull the spikes & the opportunistic doe breeders) Time............. 3 years is NOT that long for trophy bucks in your areas. And if you can Watch over the "area" with trail cams, it makes the waiting/confidence to pass on smaller bucks & does ALOT easier, KNOWING whats on your trail cam HIT LIST ! Great pictures. Hope to see more. I grew up in Irondequoit/Durand Eastman park. Thats what it was like there too. You can still throw snow balls at the bucks, like we did (under hand would be legal i think). Jerry Rebel Charters
