  1. THANKS for posting this. I want to get one for my fishing net. GREAT price to experiment with. Jerry
  2. Thanks Vince, Standing there naked in front of mirror changes all that very QUICKLY ! You know me very well, like i need MORE addictions in my life besides Bow hunting---kids activities---and trying to secure a spot on a Canadien fishing circuit. Best of luck to ya out west & localy hunting this year. See ya soon i am sure of it...
  3. GOOD thought also Ray. THanks I appreciate the knowledge really.
  4. Chad, GOOD thought, I did think about bumping him out of bedding. But decided NOT to because NO idea how he would travel (since he NEVER moves on camera in daylite) He seems to alert other wise to still hunt upon. So i like steelman,s idea of a suttle rattle/grunt between bed & scrapes/rubs-food EARLY & LATE in coming days. This will be a cool experience for me.
  5. YESSSSSSSSS my 1st. VIDEO POST........ NO other buck reacts to surroundings like "JACK" @ nite on my video/picture collections of deer. ENJOY P.S LEGACY (ROB) Right on as usual with your 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 year old estimate. You got it with a head/horns shot ONLY....
  6. FX- Hang stand on the right side of the trail Gill t- eye patch hunting & to bed on the lam- Deaf/dumb & blind traits Larry- 1 eye Robo deer "the Patterson" buck Ray K----Talking jibberish like Salmon Bound1 Bob I knew this post would take an ugly turn to the "RIGHT" THANKS STEELMAN for HUNTING tips!!!! I will watch his scrapes this week/end as the rut looks close here. With WIND in mind I will throw him a curve rattle/grunt or 2. Had 3 deer under stand Sun PM so i am confident in rubber Hipp boots & rain gear/scent control i been using. Good luck later this week hunting you guys as it is ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JERRY
  7. Very nice pics ... Do you still have cameras out? Keep them pics coming, I love to see the different angles pics are set at. Jerry
  8. Well this is my really 1st. year bow hunting (purchased 1st bow ever last year) I have done my homework/patterning/time/conditions/food/bedding BLA-BLA-BLA........ I have let 6 deer go by already in 2 PM hunts here ALL ranged @ 25 yards or less... THE BUCK i have picked out is NOT the biggest or best trophy here.... BUT here comes the challenge HE only has 1 EYE (left eye only)!!!!!!!! I have video him SEVERAL times and have a file of pictures. He will not use his vision at ALL DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. ALL nite videos where he relies on sense of smell and hearing in order to move about property and camera locations. His nose is always in the air or smelling ground. He will back up in the dark to go another way after smelling branches i touched on trails. Tell me what you guy,s think. I believe he will not run like most deer in the daylight and has a better sense of smell/taste/hearing because of this. He visits scrapes & food at nite 10 Pm-3 am typically. This is pic of 1 EYE "JACK" on a buck run i use to see the different bucks and times they come threw. He stays here for 8 MINUTES before moving!!!!!!!!! He EVALUATES EVERY position here, this time the next nite earlier..... Most other bucks fall for this mug shot trick EVERY TIME
  9. Way to go Jay.... GREAT START!!! Jerry
  10. Keith, REALY nice one there...Congrats Jerry
  11. Tank NICE Job Buddy !! Congrats & see ya sometime JERRY
  12. Chris nice pair of buck brothers there. That sure will make hunting workdays before dinner time much easier. Good Luck Jerry
  13. WHOA RAY. Nice one!!!!! Lets just hope the neighborhood kid doesn't shot him AGAIN this year too
  14. Jayc, GOOD luck hunting this year !!! Keep moving your cameras to different angles EVEN at the same locations. AND most important MOUNT the cameras LOW on trees. Keep the pics coming.
  15. Paul, The video is good, BUT the TELL TALE TRUTH is confirming the location of the video being in N.Y. state.... The D.E.C. had ALOT of verification processes to the point YOU COULD not convince their forensic team. Heck all you would needed to do is watch video and go sit there and hunt SAME SPOT i had camera stuck to tree. Big cats were native to N.Y. before bounties put them to extinction here. The frozen tracks keep getting smaller & smaller even in the freezer. Got to the point that if it is such a big secret, why fight for this??? Me & hunt buddy decide best to NOT let/show/give D.E.C. directions & permission & all the info needed for FREE REIGN to our hunting properties. Who knows with this state, we would suddenly see tax audits or fines for old tires that just showed up on our properties. Not worth it with NO UPSIDE to proving this.
  16. Would you guy,s believe me, if I said I have one chasing down a fawn on 1 of my videos & we kept its paw tracks (frozen in ice) in my buddies freezer. Took the track imprint to a taxidermist & local veterinary. Vet confirmed mountain cat track approx. 100#'s.
  17. WOW, Great pics & BIG body 8 pt. you have there. That "Rat" looks like a yearling deer? Not a coyote or something else Or am I missing it? VERY COOL keep them coming.....
  18. The OWL is another story. He actually uses the camera lighting at nite to hunt mice. Now he sits all day above it too!
  19. Andy (Broad horizons) I set up most my pictures on trails that go threw funnels/ orchard corners/bedding area/food sources=apple trees-acorns-clover/sanctuary etc. Check out MOMMA DOE under trees WATCHING!!! NOTICE the amount of BUTTON BUCKS you see. I AM RELIGIOUS on them being "OFF LIMITS" ALOT of these trails are found in winter snow!
  20. ALL YOU GUY'S ARE "THE BEST", Chad (gill-t) I thought you meant ME when mentioning the Porcupine posing picture or a "BIG PRICK" sighting. Instead you just have bad eyesight. PETE (on the LAMB) Your full of CRAP list is SPOT ON !!!!! 1.Yes fox is relieving itself (60 second video BACKS it up) 2. Yes woodchuck pic is EXACT SAME LOCATION as previous fox dump. Day/nite but same camera location. 3. Bigfoot in back ground BLIND CHAD did not even see. 4. You did miss out on points with neighbors cat & garden. But----BOOM BONUS POINTS on the Phoenix rising sighting (again Chad go back & look it up) All this animal knowledge you have explains the "ON THE LAMB" name. Hey what ever floats your GOAT. I will finish updates tomm. (in bed next to wife laffing too much at you CLOWNS now) vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvTHANK YOU PETE vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv For your imagination !!!
  21. I wanted to start 2 new lists=Full of knowledge & FULL of crapp lists Just list guesses. BECAREFUL answering this one !!! (could get you hurt)
  22. HOLY KRAPP Howie. Time for Ray to get out the Honey donuts & tommahawk if that is in the southern tier.
  23. So do i put that pic in the COYOTEE FILE then ?
  24. Thanks Guy,s & Tranny,s Now I do not know weather to KILL IT ----- DATE IT-----OR-----Re-classify it under a new sub-species. Thanks to the best 1 quart think tank on the BIG GAME FORUM for all the answers!! LMAO...... now to bed......... Jerry
