  2. Jay c, Your pics are rolling in now. NICE JOB. Keep them coming, I could look at deer pics ALL nite.
  3. Good looking young buck. Nice pic, keep after them, they are starting to rub & scrape hard lately.
  4. You, got it Tom, I think I still owe you .75 cents from last year TOO !! When i check cameras deer used to bolt away, now they just move to edges of hill/tree lines and stare till i leave. Good luck, see you at charter meetings MAYBEE. PS--- Becarefull of DEER MUGSHOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will steal a camera or 2 if given the chance.
  5. Lee, VERY COOL set up for many GREAT pics I bet. Keep them coming.
  6. This year's young buck "ODDITY" goes to this left horn that curls all the way DOWN like a candy cane. I have been told by MANY NOW that this is NOT genetics so I am leaving him be to see what next year he becomes. A Fruit Roll-up Maybee ?????? This was last year's ODDITY winner "LEFT CLUB" we named him
  7. Dick, Nice deer OR that is the LARGEST UNICORN I have seen yet. Jerry
  8. Jaycee, You and landing zone Dick D. need to get together and MOVE YOUR CAMERA'S CLOSER to your food plots --then MOVE Landing zone's camera's FARTHER FROM HIS FOOD SPOT!!!!
  9. Happy B day John! Next time we see you will probably be L.O.T.S.A. seminar in Lockport next year. Have a good one JERRY
  10. Tommy Boy, Great pics !!!! Keep them coming. Who ever stole your camera used to post pics on here that looked just like those you posted!!!!! Good luck this year & sorry we could not finish conversation in the river last weekend. I am still shaking from the buck pics I have gotten this year. We let some good ones get away last year and they are monsters this year.
  11. Jayc, Great pics man keep them coming. Yes deer do eat cherries BUT now it is full blown ACORNS & APPLES TIME !!!! We have started picking apples this past weekend & acorns are dropping now too. Jerry
  12. Lee nice set of bucks. How long ago were the pictures taken because they still have time to get BIGGER ! Gotta agree that camera is going to need more than a 3-volt battery very soon.
  13. Actually the largest verified salmon ever taken in Lake Ontario IS NOT a Chinook but an ATLANTIC holds the record for heaviest... WAS NOT CAUGHT TROLLING THOU......... commercial fishing late 1800's JERRY RUNNIN REBEL
  14. Tell me you guy,s saw more than 1 buck in that last picture also. Yes that is food plot last year, They only pass threw it on way to apples though. CANNOT GET THEM to eat there much-switched to more clover there this year. I may try something sweet next time. See what i mean about going to apples. These are the only "DEERE" that show up consistently LOL!!! Chad i believe the problem is too much food if that is possible. w/ over 300+ acres beans/corn fields rotated & 1200+ acres apples(clover grows under every tree)Apple trees are ALL pruned every year with fresh apple buds GALORE their FAVORITE spring food sitting in PILES on ground for easy browsing. Oaks/acorns woods full & wet lands full of ferns-green vegetation year round. Thats why my food plot is all Brassica/chickory/Imperial clover TRYING TO BRIBE THEM. Deer go threw a food source/type/location progression as the year and situations develope. They even wait till cold /winter before they eat the grapes on vines here. I could write a book(w/LOTS of pictures) on the timing of each food source they progress to. Chad you interested in a deer book/video project ??????????????? APPLES TREES EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I would have to agree that it was RAY K who did the "DO" . He must have went there to put an offer in on the house before you. I mean who else "BUTT RAY" would wipe with 3 quarters instead of a dollar bill JUST to save .25 cents? And I know Ray puts cranberries & nuts in his morning raison bran cereal. And there is no hair in it just ON it. CASE SOLVED!!!!!!!!! PS Ray tell me you did not keep 2 off the quarters you "LEFT BEHIND"
  16. We learned it was better to hunt the trails to/from the food plot instead of shooting at them while feeding. They educate & adjust very quickly other wise

These would be GREAT BUCKS THIS YEAR!!!!!! I am still learning after many years hunting so bring on the advice i am VERY GRATEFULL
  19. Chad these are the young bucks we leave alone. It is nice watching them grow.
  20. Thanks for the freezer filler tipp. Here are 2 of the bigger body bucks here but horns still could get better. Top buck is a wide 8pt and bottom buck is only a 4 pt Both deer on same scrape/same distance picture. another pic of big 8pt
  21. 33Canuck you could be right on this year buck being different than JD buck. Should get more pictures when i go back soon. Had other camera go down for the season so i missed alot.
  22. Chad, this is same JD buck last year @ 1 1/2 year old. He is VERY small frame as is most bucks here. They just get racks here early. You should see video of JD buck putting a thrashing on this buck scrape. There are 4 much larger bucks using this scrap. JD buck on a gut pile. Legacy Rob knows were this experiment was.
  23. He is actualy a 3 pt. that is 2 1/2 years old this year. We call him J D buck (horns looks like JD POWERS trophy) Fawns are getting BIG now too
  24. Good luck JC, nice meeting you by the way @ Oswego Pro-Am. SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH about secret spot BUT give me any sure fire plot mix food so I can get them to hit my plot instead of them making deer trails threw the middle of it again !!!!! JERRY RUNNIN REBEL
  25. MIKE, You tell Christie, "DOUBLE scoop or NOTHING" She is in the BIG leagues now ! No more skippy & popsicles. That goes for her sister too. Will see all of you at the weigh in. JERRY RUNNIN REBEL
