Sorry moonman. I have to dissagree with you. All of us fishing over the last couple of years and not paying attention to the corruption in the capitol of our wonderful country is exactly how we have passively allowed these goons to gain power. Yeah i love fishing and the people who read this forum are generally hardworking good people who have been lucky enough to enjoy and appreciate the freedoms we have here in america. A few of us pleading with others to stand together is not a waste of time and if you want to continue to have the god given right to hunt and fish, i suggest you consider what is happening to democracy.

spring in henderson/chaumont
kerchner replied to kerchner's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
thanks for all of the input. chris -
we have been fishing the chaumont bay /henderson area in spring for pike and walleye.fall has been the trench for salmon. i want to try spring fishing for trout in the same area and dont really know what to run and where to start. we have riggers, boards, wire and copper rigs that we use for salmon and a hefty collection of spoons. im not looking for any secret's but i would greatly appreciate a point in the right direction and a good "program" to drag behind the boat. thanks for any advice you can give chris

thanks guy's that is verry informative advise. i will give it a try this weekend thanks' chris -
i would like to try night trolling for kings this weekend and would appreciate any advise. it would seem to me that all of the action would be veary near the surface? would my downriggers be of any use or should the entire spread be flatlined? any sugestions would be greatly helpful. if we have any success, maybe i can talk my freinds out of getting up so early. thanks chris

wow, thanks for the reply antex 59. were you up into dexter or near the bay? i will be up there this weekend with my freind and two youth's and i would realy like to get them their first salmon. any more info you might have would be verry helpful. i was hoping to be able to get into some fish in close rather than running out to the trench and based on your report it certianly sounds like that will be worth a try. thanks so much chris

==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS two weekends ago i was on a freinds boat in the trench and during our initial setup we nailed a nice king while deploying our spread. We all thought at this point it was going to be a great day. Soon thereafter i saw the captian peeling and eating what i have been told is an evil yellow fruit that will jinx fishing by even saying it's name while on a boat. as no suprise, that was the last strike of the day. just wondering if others have witnessed this fishermans tale on lake "o" ?? ====================
