p-line for me I put 100' plus the leader, usually 30 ft of l 6-8 lb test leaderwith a spro -50lb - swivile works great! passses through all the guides great! ted

you can put a 1000 ft of 7strant steel braid on a 47 !

I run 9" copper rods and my wife hates them. not the rod but the 3-600 ft of line out, i tell her fish on, she tells me you reel it in in! ted shorter rod are the way to go, easier to manuver in the boat! ted ps i need an auto pilo or a new fishing partner, she doesn't like driveing the boat into the wind!

you may want to look at the new torpedo divers, I haven't tried them yet but I have some on order ted

i took my new/old boat out fro a shake down last fall and i only got 10mph at 3000rpms, looking at the prop(volvo 275 drive) it had several big dings I sent it out this spring for repairs and it was definitely spun, yours sounds like a coupler. Either way it aint cheap but is alaways worth it! ted

you can get a a mount to allow the tite locks to fit into a ( Believe a big jon trac ) less hole when you want to upgade to a better rod holder ted

i have parts, they seem to be ok, the antenna and the mount, there off am 85 bayliner the hardware is ss. ted

5 gallons of straight non toxic anti freesze every time, mine is an older a volvo drive just pull the top intake hose and dump it in . anit freeze is cheap compared to A REBUILD Ted

i have an 86 bayliner soft top trophy with a 305 and a volvo outdrive, question doe is the outdrive head supposed to set below the water line? i have kicker that weighs 105lbs on the back thanks ted

I have an 86 21ft bayliner trophy w/o pwr steering with a 9.9 yamaha connected withan eeze steer. Question; what auto pilot would you recommend ( wife hates to steer the boat) ted

1995 merc 5.7L 260 complete less the antenator it has new manifolds and elbows and new starter. It looks to be in decent shape and has good compression on all eight although I never have heard it run. i'm not sure what drive you have but i do have an mercusier 1 ( mr1) drive for sale i got the boat as a project but never put it in the water , it shifts great and no noise, it was in salt water but you would never know . i also have an alpha 1 for sale it also was a salt water boat but like the last looks in great condtion. both are tight with no slack the apha has a remanufactured prop i'm open to offers ( the boat i have now has a volvo drive so neither will work mr1 was on a 305 gm the alpha wa on a 260 merc v-8 ted 607 265 3803 ttiska@stny.rr.com
