    I've never ran Js for Browns. Not saying it wouldn't work, but j plugs tend to work better at higher speeds. I personally like to troll for BTs much slower. The paint jobs look good.     The only times I really run them is for stagers.... I know guys get them all year on J's.... I'm a spoon guy and that's what I have the most confidence with.     I agree..... finally some good collaberation between the DEC and the Canadians. Very interesting data. I especially like the tagging study done on Chinooks. Seems like the Canadians really have their stuff together. There has been some talk about the Steelhead numbers.... a guy brought up the effects of a fish being stressed from hooked multiple times in a stream and the ability to reproduce.... very interesting..... The good news is that it appears with the warmer winter last year, the alewives seemed to do a little better. We are still missing 2 year classes of them, but the biologist seemed optimistic that the numbers would go up again this year. One can only hope....     I've been saying it your a long time.... There needs to be a plan b contigency plan....it was asked a few years ago what the plan was if there was a catastrophic event at Altmar...     What a change has happened in our fishing world.... Years ago guys were very reluctant to give up the smallest bit of info....and now we have a round table event...
