  1. That is a clean clean ride......I would have that open door totally glassed and gel coated close. A door on the back is one thing, but on the side of the boat? Not sure I'm digging that.....
  2. Mac....I sent you a Pm ....Hope it helps
  3. I second what Hooked up Bruce said....great guys....informative meetings, and a few laughs....The more organized we (lake Ontario sport fishermen ) are, the louder our voice can be concerning stocking and bait levels. Sent from my VS920 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Awesome as always......Anthony....Keep your thumb off the spool!!!!! LMFAO......Great season guys....See you in the Spring!
  5. Just came in...not too bad...1 ft chop out of east.....good luck.... Sent from my VS920 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. I almost never just run straight out....the last time I went out , it was on the 41 west (Braddock's) and the 30 n....we were about 17 miles from port. One other time we went 22 miles ...one way..... Big gas bills...lol Sent from my VS920 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. ...it all depends on which side of the river you fish....its mostly around 500-600 ft. However there is structure out there where it comes up to 4 and change.....fished out there in 4-6 fters one day.....amazing bite. Just felt like it took 3 days to get in. 8. Glad they chewed for ya brother....I will put Rochester up against any port as far as diversity in species and overall consistency....sure we have to run a little further, but the results make up for that slight sting at the gas pump. Bob has really kicked up his game....I have some of his new stuff and its really nice.... Sent from my VS920 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Sorry about the lack of reports lately..... August had us roaming the offshore waters from roughly the 28-35 North line. Boy I love the offshore thing. Excellent class of Buckeyes, and some 2-3 year old Kings thrown in. When we marked pods of bait, it was on like donkey kong. DW getter dun, NK 28 and Mag Wonderbreads, Nk 28 Blue dolphin (orange crush ladderback on face). Finger Lake Tackle Green alewife, SSW in Hi Viz as well as the FLT die hard were on fire. On Friday Sept 5th we decided to stay inside to fish the Zombies in 80-100 feet. What a day..... We ran mostly a spoon program. FLT wonderbread mags, regular size die hards and SSW were again big producers. Nice mix of 3 year old Kings, and some really nice browns. Our big guy of the day hit a custom FLT glow alewife slasher towing a Mt. Dew bait head (familiar bite meat). The fish bounced on the scales from 32-34 lbs. Our first Tyee this year. The meat rig took 3 shots, Die hard and SSW was probably the best. The fishing has definitely kicked up a notch or 3... Tight lines.. **** RIP RPD officer D. Pierson. EOW- 09/3/14.*****
  10. Furuno 587!!!! Will drive you nuts making all those fish when they have lock jaw. Sent from my VS920 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  12. Probably Blue wings......Ive only shot a few in the early season...Love the challenge of those fighter jets.
  13. Fished out there with you on Sunday....insane bite....long ride....congrats on the Derby fish. Sent from my VS920 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Like Brian said.....Its tough to post while your out in the heat of it.....I try not to use my phone a lot. The idea of giving your people your undivided attention and effort. Now with that said, the tweets are very important and really assist with other guy's plans. I still consider myself a weekend warrior...My land gig puts me on a 4 on 2 off so I get to go out in the middle of the week a lot. Recently I have been fishing the fence with no cell service. All my tweets have been done dock side....I'm all for giving up info on what lures have been hot, what types of presentations, and even general vicinity. As far as exact locations, that is the challenge with Lake O sport fishing. The thrill of the chase....Tight lines Guys.

  17. No worries Bruce......I was happy to help out. Great group. Those young guys were out of thier minds when those Buckeyes were clearing the waves. .... Talk to you later this week.
  18. With the NW blow the past few days, that warm water invaded to inside waters. Ran out to the "Flemmish Cap" ( LMAO) and trolled with 'em. Three riggers and two wire divers....Waaaay to rough to run a big spread. For us the name of the game was Big steelhead. Our batting avaerage was less than stellar (8 for 17), but considering the conditions I was pleased. It was a spoon bite for me today.... NK Die hard parked at 52 was the man. Other noteable set ups were Finger Lake Tackle SSW on the 188 diver (Big ring on a 3). NK wonderbead 28 on the 62 rigger, Finger Lakes Tackle Mixed Veggies on the 172 Diver (Big ring on a 3). The Lake was wierd today....it went from sustained 4fters with an occasional 6 thrown in to keep you on your toes. About 11:00 it layed down to 2-3's and then it kicked up a couple notches for our steam back into port. There are a few more matures being picked up, so things may turn around a little...Good luck and Tight lines!
  19. Heres food for thought on hot sides......I have kept pretty detailed logs about my outings....Alot of time it depends on which side I have a trolling bag out on and which way I turn.....If I run my port motor, the port side bag goes out....If Im fishing an upper 40 ft set up or my sliders are going on the port side, the turbulance from my motor or bag may have somthing to do with it. Same goes for turning.....try to keep track of which side gets hit on turns. That is alos a good indicator as to how fast the fish want a presentation and depth....For instance if my diver on the port side gets hammered on a port turn ( and contunes to get hit ) I can say that on a straight troll, my diver might be running a little too fast and a little shallower. On that type of turn, your bait will drop ( depending on how sharp of a turn you make) and will slow down.....Im always trying to pay attention to small details.....Sometimes its thekey to getting the rest of the spread to go ( somtimes it isn't)....Tight lines
  20. Went out today.....The farther west I got, the worse they were....Terrible in 130 between Witauoma and Sandy.....Way offshore I heard the fleas were sticking to everything ( hooks, Swivels, 50lb mono ect).....
  21. x3 Best FF ive ever used
  22. Ive used Diawas.....Ancient great lakes systems, Black widows, and now Heartlands. Never had any problems ( Knock on wood). I tried using Okuma Blue Diamonds and the reel seats broke on a couple of them..... The heartlands and and Okuma classic pro's are probably similar in price.
  23. Very nice rig......What an awesome tournament boat! Good luck with selling her. Someone will end up with a very nice set up.
  24. Heremas on Pattonwood drive has Ethenol free fuel as well
  25. Furuno 587.....Marks fish unbelievable....
