  2. Thanks guys....Anthony, the steelie fishing off shore has been very good for us lately. It seems whenever I found 47 degree water, the bows were on it. I am very impressed by how the todpedo divers preformed off the boards. Can't wait to try a bigger one off the chute rigger for the deep kings this summer [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

We slow rolled out to the 200 ft mark and trolled our way out to 500. Best rigs were the steelie Dan Yeck 100 ft back, Snapper Torpedo Diver and then 65 back then put that on the planer board. . Bloody Death SS and Acid rain SS. Various stingers with red and orange on them did fish also. Funny thing was we took three quality Lakers out in 500 ft on the surface...Lol..Go figure...We did catch some real healthy Steelies. Enjoy the weather and thanks to all that serve in our armed forces.....

  10. Unbelievable......really? Paint ball guns now? That's a fantastic way to find yourself in jail. It's called criminal mischief, harassment, and menacing. Not to mention If I were to see a weapon( real or not) pointed at me....the results may end in a senseless tragedy. Fellas I understand your frustration, but cooler heads prevail in most cases. If a guy runs you off a spot, let him know what you think then move on..... Just remember how that particular boat is and adjust your trolling pattern accordingly. It has worked for me the last 25 years....resorting to throwing objects and challenging physical confrontations can only end one way. Good luck out on the water and tight lines...... 12. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Missdemeanor ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):5/22 Time on Water:3.5 hrs Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: 47 to 45 Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 14 Total Boated:11 Species Breakdown: Browns, Laker, Steelies, Cohos Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: 2.5-2.7 Down Speed: Boat Depth: Lure Depth: 25 feet to surface ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Was able to sneak a quick trip in today. Ventured to the same water I fished yesterday only to find the Temp break had moved. Trolled north picking at them till we found 45degree water and thats were we found them again. It wasn't fast and furious, but we had decent bites. Baits of the day consisted of the small Yeck Froggy, DW Super Slims in Acid rain, Toxic toad, Steelie Dan, Pink Alewife, and a hand taped Spook with a silver cup. I didnt mark much as far a fish, however there were an occasional cloud down 80 ft. Tight lines........
  13. Yea Bruce...no question the Rochester fishery can hold it's own. I like the fact that we have lots of options. Good luck with the Gobblers and say hi to Shel for me. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  14. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Missdemeanor ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 05/21 Time on Water:5hrs Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 25 ish....maybe more Total Boated: 18 Species Breakdown: King, Steelhead, Coho, Atlantic, Laker Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS The fishing off Rochester continues to be solid. Started in 80-90 ft and the picture was amazing.... Hooks around bait with streakers. We gave them a go for a while but no takers. The water was very murky. Pulled the rigs and headed off shore. We landed on a Coho / Steelie bonanza. The Orange Bomber off the boards took most of the shots with SS Acid Rain and Steelie Stomper doing some damage. The Yeck Obama spoon took a few shots also. The steelies we caught were really nice looking fish.....Tight lines and enjoy our nice weather... ====================

  17. This was a great event last year. Plans in the works to move the rig for the weekend. Thank you guys for all the hard work....
  18. Andy...Not Sure about the coated cable. I run the x-4 as well. I can tell you that you can really load up the rod on the stackers. I like the rod tips at the water, and ripping the fish's face off on the release....LOl....I think you would be ok on the coated cable. It seems pretty tough. As previously mentioned , I would just keep an eye out for the release when brining up the ball.
  19. Scotty makes a pincher stacker. I've used them and they work well. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

  25. 27 lb laker? Either one of those guys deserved to win. Those are monsters. Any laker over 15 lbs is always welcome for a short visit on my boat. Great job wet the net and rock n troll crews. Just goes to show how diverse Lake O is. Good luck to everyone fishing the WHI. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
