  1. Bite The bullet....fish hawk X-4 [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  2. Could you mount The rigger in The center? I run a three rigger set up. Very effective especially with spooky fish. My chute rigger is usually deepest. However sometimes I run it shallow. Just have to improvise and adapt to What they want. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  3. Here is a good Bull I caught in Cabo a few years ago. Captain said it was over 60....All I can tell you is the fish fought like hell. Ive fished Florida a few times and by far the best has to be Islamorada in the Keys......Awesome inside Tarpon and Permit. Offshore are plenty of Smoker Kings, Sails and some Dolphin. I have my eye on a Costa Rica trip with the misses......One Word...ROOSTER! Every saltwater fish Ive caught has been a battle. Even a 4 lb Bonita will fight you like a smallmouth on steroids. Good luck with your trip.
  4. Jerry....Not the dirk diggler "70's pornstash.........
  5. Every time I drive by Braddocks (Daily) I just shake my head in disgust. What an absolute fantastic resource that is just about wasted. I for one would have my rig parked there if the bay was passable. 2 1/2 feet? What a shame. All Braddocks would need is a some dredging, and a couple jetties to help keep out the silt. A true diamond in the rough...just needs the polish.......
  6. 24.14.....Good for 19th place. She hit a NK magnum Habenaro...

  9. Those are probably Old squaws or the politically correct "Long tail sea duck". They are usually white with black tails, however when they get into the eclipse faze, whats normally white on them turns black and what not. Really cool looking bird in full plumage in January. Some of the fastest fliers and hard to kill. Wasted many rounds on them. They must wear Kevlar vests.
  10. It is....What It is man. All we can do Is hope its just going To be bumpy. Hey The weatherman has Been wrong before. See you guys up there. Just checked...changed Already....n/w 15 To 25 two to fours building to sixes....fishable if they Are right [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

  13. Congrats on The fish. 32 is a tremendous fish for the spring. That is just a testament to the fishery we have available here. I cant wait To see what The fall brings. Maybe be another late 90s year full of 40#class kings. Tight lines guys.....matt [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  14. Tom....Went to the ponds and trolled to Braddocks. In very tight. Friday was an respectable bite, but today was tough. Few cookie cutter Brownies. One thing I would like to comment on is the size of the Smallies we caught....They were monsters. Friday we had 4 planers go at the same time....all 19 inch smallies. Man they must have been 5 lbs each. They are definitely chowin down on the gobies......Tight lines......
  15. Jeremy.... Congrats bro...Thats a hell of a chicken. Hope She holds. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

  18. All three boats you have mentioned are solid rigs. I love how deep the Thompsons are. Really nice platforms. What more can be said about Penn Yans. Ive fished out of both of these boats and you can't go wrong. As far as Baha's....That's my rig now. In fact its my second one. In 1993 we purchased one brand new and fished one season. While in winter storage some A$$hole set the warehouse on fire(Ruled an arson) and we lost the boat. We managed to get it together and purchased another Baha. Same identical rig that burned. Haven't had any hull issues, no stringer or transom problems. The one thing I will tell you is I'm totally obsessed with keeping the bilge clean and motors running tip top. My advise would be to have a dry dock survey done by e reputable guy. A sea trial is also a must. Like I said before, all three vessels are strong lake boats. Good luck and just remember what B.O.A.T stands for......"Break Out Another Thousand." ...Tight lines
  19. Cohos are notorious for hitting at faster speeds. Saturday we pounded them pretty Good. Faster speeds.....2.7-3.0 were the best. Heavier spoons Like nk's and dreamweavers can handle it. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  20. Longline, your right about combat trolling in front. I was out there today. We really put a beating on The cohos This am. Real healthy chunky fish. The clearer water was best for us. Took a nice atlantic also. Good To hear about the browns. Good job [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  21. Just an FYI, there is a scam going around. A guy is emailing captains in order To Set up trips. The emails are written poorly And The scammer wants To make payment in full vía check. Its The old " i sent Too much Money can You send me back The difference?" The email is from [email protected]. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  22. Have a good day rob. Now That Your getting old, no More pony tails ya hippie! Lol [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  23. Albright knot.....very strong , as far a s the release and Power pro...I would try a half hitched rubber band into the release clip. That should hold it without slipping
  24. The DA's office is probably going to present the case to the Grand Jury. When the Grand Jury hears the evidence, they rule on weather there is enough evidence to support the crime that is initially going to be charged. After the Grand Jury "Rises"(Makes a decision) an indictment warrant is filed and the suspects are picked up by local authorities. Bail can be set when the suspects are properly arraigned. I believe that there is quite a time frame between when a Grand jury hears a case and when they "Rise". I'm not 100% sure, but it may be 45 days. It is my understanding that prosecutors utilize this system in order to have the correct charges for certain acts. Usually felony cases. I think this is to prevent over and under charging crimes. Plea bargains are hard to come by after an defendant is indicted. This case may not even be in the courts yet, it still may be under investigation. With a case of this magnitude I can imagine that the Investigators are,as previously mentioned, Dotting the eyes and crossing the Ts. The main focus should be on the victim, his recovery , and his speedy return to the streams. I am no expert on court proceedings, just throwing out a "This could possibly be happening".......Tight lines
