Well, we had hoped to get up to the lake in time to fish tonight, but we've been stuck in standstill traffic on I81 for the last hour, so probably not going to make it up in time to go out tonight.
From what I've heard, the water has begun to stabilize a bit (compared to last weekend), but the fish are still scattered.
More east wind slated for this weekend, but hopefully it won't blow too hard and will a) be fishable and b) not destabilize the water column again.
SATURDAY
NORTHEAST WINDS 5 TO 15 KNOTS DIMINISHING TO 10 KNOTS
OR LESS. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. WAVES 2 FEET OR
LESS.
SATURDAY NIGHT
NORTH WINDS 10 KNOTS OR LESS. A CHANCE OF
SHOWERS IN THE EVENING. WAVES 1 FOOT OR LESS.
SUNDAY
NORTHEAST WINDS 10 KNOTS OR LESS BECOMING NORTH. WAVES
1 FOOT OR LESS.
They're calling for scattered storms all weekend, but let's hope they stay south of the lake.
Live images of the lake for people to check before heading out...
Good luck to everyone fishing the LSRC and Sandy Creek shootout this weekend, stay safe and have fun! And good luck to those trying to pull out a last second LOC fish!
