  1. Cutting the swivel, sliding off the fleas, then retying is often the way to go when the fleas are heavy! Nick
  2. Get the wasabi spare batteries on amazon, save the bacpac for the wifi pac, which is useless now but will be awesome when they finally come out with the smartphone app. [ Post made via Android ]
  3. Welcome aboard Joe, sent you a PM. Looks like we have two spots left open until we hit 15...
  4. Crum tell her she's hired good call on the food saver, I dont have one, but hopefully someone does! Nick [ Post made via Android ]

  6. Thought I'd post this in this forum as well... A tournament that gives back to our troops. I'm probably going to limit the tournament to 15 boats for the first year. Let me know if you have any questions! Nick
  7. Bob from Bushallows Taxidermy in Auburn,NY contacted me tonight... he's volunteered to mount the winning king caught by a vet! How awesome is that, thanks Bob!
  8. Ok we have our first corporate sponsor, sponsoring Ruff Rider, The SI Organization http://www.thesiorg.com If anyone in the tournament works for a company or has a relationship with a company that would like to sponsor their boat, let me know! Nick
  9. Jason it definitely makes a difference. We used Ande 30lb to keep the fleas off. If you think this is bad, just wait a few more weeks... they get worse. When your downrigger cables start to get coated, then you'll know it's bad Nick
  10. Glad I brought you some luck! A triple is better than talking to me any day lol
  11. It was off my copper... guess I won't complain as long as it doesn't happen Now ok fess up... who was this... 40 sec mark, they took off like a bat out of hell bang bang BOOM! Got some serious air, probably would have broken my back! Looked like their front swim ladder flipped up and out of the boat lol... slow down cowboy! ycbMHeC7Pig&feature=plcp Nick
  12. I always slap the rod tip when I have a fish on, never had one break on me. How hard are you slapping that thing The water isn't frozen is it? LongLine's way works also, but make sure you don't do it with a fish on! Nick
  13. Warrens Hook Line and Sinker has one in stock. I'd love to pop one out on a dipsey. We plan on having one at the SBHW Salmon Slam as well... Nick
  14. If we get lucky, the lake will flip... that tends to clear them out pretty good. When bringing in a rigger fish, if the fleas build up and you can't real, slap the tip of the rod against the water... it will knock the fleas off enough to then reel in Nick
  15. So I noticed again this weekend that the fleas build up on the wire and lighter mono and even swivels, but my powerpro was completely clean? Anyone have any idea why in the world that would be? Nick
  16. It's all about how you hold it lol It was 31" long, but looked like 45" in the way the pic came out haha.
  17. LOL get that mic fixed! How else will you brag about the 30lber when you catch it? [ Post made via Android ]
