Green and orange spoons. 140-200fow. Theresa's king took FOREVER.to get in. I had to slow to almost nothing and chase it... Theresa had enough and its just me now making reports tough. 9. Well we got stuck at work late today, but we're headed up to the lake now and should be there by 1am. Probably won't have many Friday PM trips this year, but we'll see. The lake looks like it's warming nicely... Also, if you look at this site you can see the past two days of surface temps animated: http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/ofs/loofs/now_temp.shtml The water warming only means one thing, time to head offshore! The wave forecast looks great for this weekend, but there may be storms tomorrow morning which will keep us from running too far offshore. Hopefully some of the green water off Rochester got pushed towards Sodus with today's west wind... Good luck to everyone out there tomorrow fishing the proam. Be safe! Nick
  10. Thanks Day Break, I'll shoot Werner an email, sounds like they could have some really good input... Nick
  11. You can also try Sodus Bay Marina... they have a pool and are closer to the point. http://www.marinalife.com/reservations/ ... s-point-ny Nick
  12. Ok so I just got a call from Project Healing Waters. http://www.projecthealingwaters.org/ "Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and veterans through fly fishing and fly tying education and outings." I talked to them about taking vets fishing and they were extremely appreciative of whatever we can give. I didn't really think I had time to setup an event, but screw it, who needs sleep Would anyone be interested in donating a morning to take a vet fishing? Project HW is fully insured so no worries there. I'm thinking a Saturday in August, just a few hours in the morning. Then maybe a barbecue lunch, followed by a salmon fly tying workshop or a "how to cook your catch" seminar during lunch? Here's a video of a trip they did to the salmon river last year, they had about 10 drift boats volunteer. Nick
  13. Ummm bass are biting in the bay. Fishin is slow right now and so are the reports. We'll be out sat and sun if the storms stay away and should be posting a live report on here. Nick [ Post made via Android ]
  14. Reports have been slim, it's the slow time of the summer. Browns in 40-60fow, lakers 100fow, kings mixed in from 80-600fow. Nick [ Post made via Android ]
  15. A derby for fun would be a lot of, well fun. I'm sure we could find somewhere in Sodus to have a barbecue as well. Hopefully I'll hear back from DAV. [ Post made via Android ]
