Wow sorry to hear that, but glad to hear he is doing well now!
I feel like we have had more rough water this year than normal. I can't remember the last time we had flat water.

I have no idea. It must have been the rough water from Friday and Saturday and banging against the boat.ok I will bite, how did you dislocate a rib
-
Got it Aaron, thanks! We won't be out until this evening...
-
450fow 112 down 45f, 250fow 50 down 45F... that 350fow range is still where I would start
-
Water is still frigid on the inside, one boat taking a few bites in 250fow. One boat just ran to 450fow and has a good screen and good temp.
-
Ch9 is a good channel for the weekend in Sodus, but usually dead during the week as most of the charters are on ch8.
-
Well the story of the week was the upwelling and extreme cold water that moved into Sodus. Multiple reports of 45F water down 20ft over 150fow. Fishing has been extremely tough, with some doing ok running to 400-600fow where the water was more stable. Some king and brown action in 50fow as well.
The good news is that the water has been stabilizing the past few days and if the Rochester reports are a sign, the water should be setting back up.
If I were going out in the morning, I would check out that 350fow range. Unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we can get out Friday night. The forecast for Saturday looks lousy and after dislocating a rib last weekend, I need to take a break from rough water... so we'll see what happens.
Good luck to the teams fishing the tourney this weekend, be safe!

Some videos are just too good not to share...
One of our Veterans with team Bound For Glory, was having a blast catching fish on Saturday!
-
Love the videos Dan! If you ever get to the Sodus area give us a call!
-
If it makes you feel any better... I went to the Dr today because my back was sore this weekend and it wasn't going away... apparently I dislocated a rib... I think I have had enough rough water for one year!I almost sacrificed my lunch in those waves Friday!
-
Also, we are putting in one more order for Salmon Slam Columbia shirts. If you would like one for $35, please contact me by Wednesday at 5pm!
-
Well said Roy!

That was probably Patrick. He made sure to stop by and tell me what a blast he had and he didn't do too bad for his first fish! He said he can't wait for next year!It was our honor, Nick. Bless both of you for making it happen. Again in debt. Loved it. Enjoyed watching the veterans get out and enjoy themselves.
If I remember right a 70-something year old veteran said that was the first fish ever caught in his life. How can you beat that. We changed lives this weekend. This was a huge group effort on everyone's part. Completely awesome. Thank you
