Thank you again to Bass Pro in Auburn for donating many of the Veteran prizes . We picked them up tonight and some of our Salmon Slam volunteers ensured they were fish ready!

Excellent pic and thank him for his service for me! Please stop by the event if you are in town and say hi!

I am excited to announce that the LOC has joined this year's Salmon Slam and will be sponsoring the Veterans that are fishing this year's single day tournament. This means that all boats registered for the LOC (everyone aboard other than the Veteran is registered as well) will still be qualified for the summer LOC!
For any boats in the Salmon Slam that aren't in the summer LOC yet, here's a good reason to join!
Visit http://www.loc.org to join!

Thanks Sarah, I will give you a call this afternoon!

Absolutely follow Ruff Rider. 24 ft dark blue bayliner. Five More Minutes is another good one to follow....
Those guys will know where the fish are !
If the lake and weather stay the course we could be enjoying a salmon tournament in Sodus.....finally! It seems like it's been a few years. Nothing against the feisty BT, they have treated me well but It sure would be nice to see some huge king boxes for a change
Soon !!!! Always an awesome time!
I plan on following you anyways
And folks better find some kings, I plan on coming back with a cooler full this year!

Good news... EVERYONE makes the boardThanks, if I make the board I'll be happy, top ten is icing on the cake!
So that's what I have been doing wrong with my crew! Haha

Hi Sarah, thank you for reaching out to this community! My wife and I have enjoyed fishing the LOCs for years!
One rule that I would like to see changed is having to weigh a fish in by 8pm and not being able to weigh it the next day. This rule only hurts the honest fisherman, as a cheater will just hold their fish and weigh it the next morning anyway.
Also, I've sent two emails to LOC about the Veterans tournament we are having at the end of July and have not heard back. Is there a better email I should use or if there is a phone number I should call, can you private message it to me please?

Last call for Salmon Slam tshirts folks, need everyone's order in by next week!
-
If anyone would like a cotton t-shirt with the Salmon Slam logo on the back and S/S on the front, please let me know.
We have mostly chartreuse, but also a few bright blue, red, light blue, white, and orange. We also have a couple of pink and a few sleeveless blue.
The cotton t-shirts are $10. If you would like t-shirts, please let me know what size and how many. I will need your order by July 8th.

What's a brown?
Don't take the tourney to serious, just have fun. I have met too many teams that took it way too serious and ended up in fight, ruined friendships, etc.
I fish with my wife, so I quickly get bopped on the head if I get too serious.
Also, have a plan in place for rough (very rough) water. They pretty much never cancel. This might mean seasickness patches for the crew, or driving slowly west and trolling with the waves, then picking up and doing it all over.
Oh, and follow the good boats out of the chute... they love the company

No, the Veterans will meet you at Hughes. Will the teams from Hugh's be required to leave from Arneys? If so where do we pick up our warrior ?

We are still working on getting pricing for more formal vented Columbia fishing shirts, but we have t-shirt pricing. If anyone would like a cotton t-shirt with the Salmon Slam logo on the back and S/S on the front, please let me know.

I'm looking forward to trying the new Torpedo weighted line this year. I tend to break my coppers multiple times throughout the season, so once that happens, I'll probably give this a go. Looking forward to hearing other's results with it...

The Salmon Slam is pleased to welcome back the folks at Shark this year! They have some new items they would like us to try out this year...

Very interesting. I wonder if there might be some type of artificial reef project that could be done to add some structure to ports like Sodus, where there really isn't much. I wonder if there's something small that could be done to help the alewife population?

Got it, I will add him to the roster for BFF!Nick I talked to Ryan fishing magician would like to also participate
