  1. Whole lot of swing and misses... 600 copper went, then 95 rigger, then 120 rigger, then 95 rigger after reset. None hooked up more than a few seconds.
  2. Great screen in 600fow, fish down 90. Losing connectivity out here, will post when I can.
  3. Quick shot on the fixed cheater 10ft up on 125 rigger. Starting to see some life in the 90ft range in 500fow
  4. No meat. Echo One is in 500fow and just put some down.
  5. Still marking bait 125 down over 250fow with some hooks.
  6. Fishing keeps up like this I'm gonna need it hahah
  7. 125 rigger took a shot. 69 deg down 100 over 165fow. Lake is calming, still 2-3s.
  8. Let's go fishing! Plan was to go deep, but lake is still rough. Going to give it a go shallow in hopes that it calms down.
  9. Late night, slept in. Hearing a lot of skunks so far with the temp down 130+.
  10. Wooohooo! Fishing vacation time! 11 straight days of hunting for a LOC fish! Word is the lake has been rough all week. Temp is still very warm and fishing still tough. Arriving at the lake late tonight and hope to be out in the morning!
  11. What if you keep your second battery on a trickle charger at home and bring it with you. Place it on the floor in the bow, unhooked. It will provide bow weight to get you on plane faster and you will have it as a backup. I've had mixed results with jumpers in the past, and would prefer to have a second battery aboard that I could swap out in a pinch. (That being said, make sure you have the correct tools to change the battery out as well).
  12. I'd recommend calling a few and having a quick conversation. For a bachelor party, you probably want a captain that is going to have a bit of fun There's a good choice above and several other on the forum who are all great guys, but definitely call and make sure their personality meshes with yours.
  13. hmmm So I actually think I have been running a deeper diver on my one rod all of these years. It was originally a copper color, so I spray painted it black years ago and never thought much about it. I did notice it was the same size as a dipsey with ring, but never gave it much thought. I'm looking at the Walker website now and sure enough that's what it is. I can't say I've really seen a huge difference in depth vs the dipsey with ring though. Maybe a bit, but I always attributed it to running on the one rod with malin wire which is thinner than my other wire. Speaking of malin wire. Fleas are back. They were starting to build up on the malin wire. My thicker wire on the other rods was still pretty clean. They were starting to show up on swivels again too. For those coming up for the LOC, make sure you have 30lb test on your rigger rods and wire on your dipseys!
  14. Way to go Mike! Did you really catch a brown out in 600ft? The lake must REALLY be messed up
