  1. I think a lot of them were smaller fish that probably didn't get a good grasp on the treble. Some of the screamers we lost though... I would agree!
  2. Wow nice! Everyone keeps saying that there a huge steelies, but we just havent been hitting the bigger ones.
  3. We use blacks. We used to use offshore releases, but switched to blacks and could never go back. Ive been experimenting with running them tighter with the rods bent over real tight... I think my ratio has actually gone down a bit...
  4. Another king about 10lbs... just cant find the biggins
  5. East wind picked up and it's kinda chilly out here. Gotten lazy and havent been cleaning dipsey rods of fleas and theyve gone silent.
  6. And btw, your question was valid, I just wish I knew the answer so I could fix it!
  7. Small steelie, 98 down, yellow NBK. We are back into 580fow.
  8. Another double, lost both. Pretty sure small steelies. Dear Warrens Tackle Shop, Please order some of those fancy neon green NK spoons with the orange ladder back. Sincerely, Ruff Rider
  9. Poor data connection out here, I keep double posting.
  10. I started Friday and Saturday's action last night.... woke up a few hours later with the laptop still on my chest... catching fish is tiring
  11. Make sure you are checking your lines at least every half an hour. The fleas are bad and the fish wont bite as well with them on your lines.
  12. Has been mostly a rigger bite lately, 85 down and the free slider on the 98 rigger. It has slowed down in the last 30mins, possibly due to the East wind picking up.
  13. We are in 700fow pointed South trolling back in. Neon yellow spoon just got put out and fired twice within minutes. Moving to try and find some bigger fish though. We are pretty tired, so now we just want one more about 40lbs haha
  14. Ok this is getting ridiculous, poor Theresa can't even pull lines in without fish hitting them!
  15. Listen folks... now is the time. If you have vacation time, take it. Call in sick if you need to. Fishing is on FIRE and the weather forecast looks great! GET OUT HERE! (disclaimer: fishing could suck again tomorrow)
  16. Not really sure. We do run much lighter gear than most people, lighter rods, lighter drags, etc. Most of our lost fish have been quick hits on dipseys and quick pops on riggers that pull down, release, and then gone.
  17. Fish have been coming too fast to post. Everything has been firing except my high dipsey.
