Flytying, I'm not the maker, just the messenger, but I do know this is a new fly series using very fine cut mylar...not flashabou. Since it's a much finer strand of mylar than typically used in flys, it does have flashabou like qualities...but in a reverse tied mylar fly. Did I say that right Gary ? Blue Weenie FC ....Fine cut mylar with silicone legs that change from a chartruse to white, mirage and super UV yellow beads Fruity Frostsicles....Fine cut mylar ( Mirage ) with clear silicone legs with glitter in them.

We just got back from spending 12 days in Key Largo...our 5th strait year visiting the keys in the winter. It's a place that I have come to know well, and once there it becomes impregnated in your soul.It's the place I long to be when I'm anywhere but there. For those yet to visit, it's Florida by name only. Key west is only 90 mile fom Cuba and the keys are truly tropical and boast the only living coral reef in North America. This may be nothing unusual to you upstate New Yorkers and Erie guys, but down here in southeastern Pa this kind of snow doesn't happen to often My poor boat is burried......C'mon spring!! To think that only a week ago I was in shorts and bare feet fishing in the Fla. keys, and this is what I come back to I don't know how you guys in the lake effect regions put up with this every year?

I bought this Fly Rod to fish bonefish in the Florida keys. I have been to the Keys twice now and have not used the rod once so I'm guessing it ain't gonna happen.
