Niagara County Pro-Am update
Fishtails replied to Capt Vince Pierleoni's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
Haha, you are a good fisherman Abe. You'll do very well. I am sure there will be stiffer competition than me I have two newbs and my son will miss at least Friday so I'll have my hands full ! Can't wait though, should be loads of fun !! They have it set up so that each day is a new event - so that should get more guys involved. I admittedly prefer the past Pro Am days of 9 fish limits, but a 3 fish limit means anyone can compete and win so that will make it a challenge! Niagara County Pro-Am update
Fishtails replied to Capt Vince Pierleoni's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
The Niagara Pro Am was one of my favorite tournaments as an Amateur. I stopped fishing it when they went to the open division with the early weigh in time, so I am really happy they finally changed it back to a 2:30 weigh in. There are always things we'd like to see be different, but I really really wanted to see the longer fishing day reinstated. Awesome job committee! I'm rounding up my son and my buddy and his son and we'll fish all 3 days this year. Looking forward to seeing you guys in a couple weeks! -

I am selling my Raymarine auto pilot for mid to large size hydraulic steered inboard OR sterndrive (I/O) boats. It's the complete system in excellent working condition. I converted my boat to an outboard, and I unfortunately can't use this system with the hydraulic outboard I now have so It's up for sale. I have owned this AP since new and as stated, it comes complete less the original box and the manual which is online free. It works on single and twin inboard OR inboard/outboard boats from 24 foot and up. I had it on my 24 foot Searay and I LOVED it. I have one part to pull off the boat yet, and then I'll post pics. It will sell fast if/when I put it up on Ebay so if you are interested let me know. I will ship. Similar to the Raymarine ev-200. I purchased this in 2007 I think. Asking $1000 -
Very sad news, RIP Sandmand.

2016 Healing Waters Salmon Slam
Fishtails replied to TOP SECRET's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
Hey Nick, LE will be happy to participate again this year. The crew I had last year has already asked if they can do it with me again this season, so I guess they had fun On a side note, I had the pleasure of meeting up for a couple drinks with my Vet from last year's Salmon Slam while on vacation in Key West this past winter. Both he and another Vet he was vacationing with both raved about the Salmon Slam and said many of the participating vets look forward to it all year. It's a great event and I'd be thrilled to be apart of it again. You do such a great thing for the Vets Nick, I applaud you my friend! -

I have a 125-8EM SeaStar hydraulic steering system for sale. It consists of the 1.4 helm with steering wheel and the hydraulic cylinder. I do not have the two hoses, as it was hooked up on my boat using copper tubing. You only need to purchase two hoses for your boat length on Ebay and you're set. If you have cable steering, you need this ! I installed it new in my boat in 2007. It's very easy to install. I'm converting my boat to outboard, so I am installing a different style hydraulic steering. I am pulling out of the boat in a day or so, I'll take pics then. Works perfect. Will ship for actual cost. Asking $425.00 (retails around 800 without hoses)

For Alpha One® Gen I Sterndrives (1972-1990) Replaces most Mercruiser Sterndrives from 120 -260 HP 1967-1990 This is a perfect running outdrive I bought new that only has one season on it. The casing is 4 + yeas old, but towards the end of my 3rd season using this drive it started to tick. I shipped it to sterndrive engineering and they replaced everything but the outer casing itself. Last season it performed flawless, as it had the previous 3 years (less the tick). I was running it on a mercruiser 165, but it will fit many motors. Prop NOT included. Includes Anode kit and installation kit. I actually have two for sale. The other has three seasons on it and runs perfectly as well. I am selling because I'm converting my boat to outboards. Asking $700.00 for this one and $600 for the other.

YOLO guys, tourneys are good times ! I don't even have a team this year after spending the last couple seasons fishing only a few off my boat and those were exclusively with only my son. I needed to do that while I still had him. He is now driving, working and girl chasing so I don't see him joining me much this year but tournies are just to much fun and with these gas prices I'll dredge something up and give it hell ! Honestly, there has never been a better time to get involved
