Some of the highlights include: Biggest Salmon overall will win $5000 Biggest Salmon every week will win $1000! We will award the top 10 places for Salmon, and top 5 prizes for Rainbow, Brown & Lake Trout. The biggest of each trout category will win a Scotty 1116 Propack Downrigger Top 3 overall prizes for Junior division in all species. For all OSGA members, the boat who weighs in the largest Salmon amongst 2025 OSGA members will win a 2026 Boat ticket. Wow what a day on Saturday ! A big thank you goes out to: Everyone who attended, we raised over $2700 that will go to Out Of The Cold mission. All of our vendors, thank you for your continued support! Lyle Gayder, Jason Barnucz & the MNR team for the very informative seminars thst were presented! All of our volunteers who made the set up & clean up a breeze. TNT Fishing Lures for providing the custom colored trolling spoons to the first 100 people in the door. Congratulations to Parker who won the Blackstone Grill door prize. We'll see you next year! ✌️

Greetings everyone! We are really excited about the upcoming Niagara Fishing Tackle Swap that's being presented by the St Catharines Game and Fish Association happening on Sat Jan 25 once again at Eden High School in St Catharines, ON 🇨🇦 On hand there will be a very large variety of new & used fishing gear for sale from many individuals, retailers & companies. Other hilights worth noting are : $5 admission (kids under 16 free) all admission proceeds will be donated to the Out Of The Cold Meal program to help those in our community. All paid entrants get a draw ticket to win a Blackstone Grill, a BBQ tool set from Requip'd Canada & a gift card from Lakeshore Meats First 100 paid entrants through the door will receive a free custom trolling spoon from TNT lures There will also be 3 free seminars presented during the day: 930am - Lyle Gayder from "Hooked On Niagara" will share some tips on fishing in the Niagara Region 1030am - Jason Barnuz will give a presentation on Kayak Fishing 1130am the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources will give a presentation on the State of Lake Ontario Salmon & Trout Some refreshments will also be available. We are looking forward to another great day and hope you can join us!

We're very excited about our line up of seminars/guest speakers we will have. Lyle Gayder from Hooked on Niagara - Guide Service will present an introduction of the many fishing opportunities in the Niagara Region . Jason Barnucz - The Reel Angle will present an introduction to Kayak Fishing. We will also have a representative from the Ontario Ministry Of Natural Resources to present an update on Lake Ontario These are all free to attend!
