    The Canon board have more, about 10%, keel in the water than the Big Jon with double keels. Make sure that the second keel has a smaller weight or boat will sink, my bud found out the hard way, on the job training. Either one should pull about the same.

    I use a piece of roofing lead 6 X 8" about 4 oz on my Canon boards. The outside ski tends to lifts up a little with out the lead, more ski in the water equals more pull.
