  5. What's up Guys? Just one question. Are there any advantages of using the "add a line" style cheater versus a rubberband? Or are they equal in nature? I used cheaters alot last summer and really liked them. I was using fixed cheaters with rubber bands. Thanks, Tank

  10. Hey Foster, How are you?. I had several projects and am a little later than expected. I have a starter issue that should be resolved in a few days..then I am launching. I am sooo hoping to be in this weekend! I am docking at Sleepy Hollow up the creek this year. By the way, I installed a new VHF antenna, so I will be reachable, if that doesn't fix it I will get a new radio as well. Hope to see you out there soon!! Tank
  11. Freeman, too funny. I have a 28 ft. bayliner trophy hardtop that I bought out of Ohio 3 years ago..the old name of the boat was the "Happy Hooker" I renamed it this year to "Fish Tank". I have had several little projects to do so should be launching this weekend..see you out there. I met Foster last season at the Marina..nice guy. I am at Sleepy Hollow this year. Tank
  12. Spoons, and if you use the right ones you'll never touch the bottom. I never have, even in 4 ft. of water. Most sticks will thump the bottom starting at around 7 feet. Tank

  18. Heading to Keuka this Saturday to check up on the smallies. Can someone give me a recent surface temp? Please! I will be fishing the Penn Yan branch. Thanks in advance, Tank
  19. I fish the early season for smallies. Every weekend from mid May till 3rd week in June, also in summer at times. My family has a cottage on the lake. I have tracked surface temps since the early season inception and use it almost soley to guage peak pre-spawn period. I do not fish bedding fish. Any time you want to leave a temp is great for me. I did expect it to be much higher this year as compared to last. Thanks again. Tank
  20. Thanks Trolling Keuka...that is way lower than I expected this year...good to know. Thanks again. Tank
  21. If anyone fishes Keuka over the next month, could you please report on surface temp. I would expect it to be above average for this time of year and WAY above what it was last year at this time..Thanks in advance! Tank
