  1. I mounted the mast on my crestliner ahead of the bow seat also. It is very important on a smaller boat (20 feet or less) to mount as far forward as your boat allows. This allows your rods to be free of contact with the tow line on the board. If you mount too far back you can have issues. Several boat models have mounts for the bow seat that allow for an adapter to attach to your mast and it goes right in your seat mount. Easily removed with the push of a button(My crestlibner did not- ) I just put a flush mount with removable feature in. I use the two reel mast. Very enjoyable setup! Good Luck! Tank
  2. Much appreciated..in for at least another week hopefully! Tank
  3. That is sooo cool Pat, thanks for sharing!!! Tank
  4. Hey foster, where did you hit your prop?? Thanks, Tank
  5. . No problem! Jay was miles away!!!
  6. P.S. this fish took over 500 feet of line on his initial run. I had to slowly tighten up the drag to slow the fish due to fear of being spooled(he had to hit the rod with the least line on it)
  7. Wasn't too bad out there today, got a little bumpy around 11:00. Most fish had lockjaw, but not this dude!! Took a froggy glow sigg's off a green glow spin doctor. Tank
  8. Ahh, I get it...kinda like fishing isn't even a word during deer season!!
  9. LT, great report! Thanks. But something has me puzzled? You "take off" from fiishing on your B-Day :?: Tank
  10. Yankee, Nice job on the derby king! Do you know of anyone locally who sells the silver horde plugs or did you get them via mailorder?? Thanks, Tank
  11. Brian, I would give you a shout, but...well you know the story!

  15. Hey Gator, nice report. A few of us have talked about fishing at night and I wish I had fished one of these full moon nights this past week. Still a possibility before the end of the season(hopefully). Will post results if we do it. Tank
  16. Landed by my brother Mike 8/27/07-24.8 lbs.
  17. Had similar results as Gambler today(and thanks again Brian for the filet job on the big guy and use of the cooler!!) Just me and my brother, we were 4 for 5 although the one miss was when the third rod fired on a double . We also missed 1.5 hours due to weighing our first fish(24.8lbs.) My scale was screwed up and didn't want to chance it, so we headed in to weigh. All quality fish today. I am sorry too about the "other" member. Maybe I can cheer him up by saying that what happened to him was NOT "awesome"(dave style)!!!
  18. Thanks Doozer...what was the temp down 30?? Tank
  19. Sorry for the unrelated chime in, but Brian, did you get my PM about the cell phone?? PM's are p!$$!ng me off!!! If the weather stays on course I will be out Thursday AM! Tank
  20. Hey Foster, having problems with sending pm's. Two kings on spinnies with fly off the riggers and one lost on same...no dipsy's(only had one guy with me, so ran only riggers) Tank P.S. let me know if you ever get my PM. Thanks
  21. They sell the dipsey rods too. The ones I bought there are 9'6" and they are heavy action. They don't neccesarily say Dipsey rod, they may even say downrigger , but they are dipsey rods..heavy action. Tank.
