That's awesome! Congrats to you both. My oldest (12) started Bow hunting this year and being in a stand with him has been surreal to say the least! Can't wait for him to get his first. Thanks for posting! Tank -
G5 Striker 100 grain here as well. I have shot 10 deer with them since trying them in 2010 and not one hasn't passed thru and flew true! Awesome blood trails as well. Tank -

Hey bandrus, I didn't take that as a joke or funny. Those boys are 9 and 10 yrs old and cannot handle bigger Kings. They have been catching whatever they can handle on my boat for years. Charter captains and tournament veterans are complaining about the King fishing this year along with most everyone, so instead of targeting a few fish for ME I targeted what they could successfully do. I have caught multiple Kings this year and 100's if not 1000's in my time fishing for them. Browns are a great Kid friendly fish, Btw this was the same morning

Installed an EV 200 sport this past Thursday and ran it Friday and Sat and am blown away by this unit! Had an OLD unit on my previous boat and WOW what a difference! Two trips and have only touched the wheel running out and back in, have not touched it once while fishing! Sweet unit! Also I find it to be whisper quiet...I do have power assist steering so that may be the difference from what others have observed? -Tank -

Great Hunt again (aren't they all!). took this Buck at 7:23 am on Saturday the 12th. Only the 4th time in the stand for the year as I have been pretty sick. I missed a 30 yard shot at a 130"ish Buck on the 9th(deflection) so I was happy to get back at it Saturday and get an opportunity at this Buck. 12 yard shot with my Mathews Switchback XT and 100 grain G5 Striker broad head (the only broad head I have ever truly been happy with). Sarah and the little man went out to retrieve him with me...that was fun! Sorry so many pics but I can never decide what I like best. FINALLY got out on the lake and it felt great. Fished solo and went 6 for 7 with the highlights being a 12# male brown and a mid to high teens King at 36' with good girth. First three fish and the last (lost) fish were off the rigger with an orange and gold r&r spoon. The king and two cohos took a jointed j9 Rapala in orange/gold off the boards. The water was translucent chocolate milk. Best fish came from near cowsucker. The King hit hard and took two runs, the second being 150ft! That did NOT suck! Great to be back out. Color of water was better East but the fish just werent there. All fish came from 12-15 ft. of water and were all released. The pic of the King does no justice but here it is. Tight Lines, Tank -
