  3. 45 threw NAFTA under the bus and made it a level playing field. And the canucks didn’t like it. And that’s all I have to say. I’m with Whaler. I’ll pass Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. That Aug 9 date is going to cause a lot of confusion. Canada and the US are NOT on the same page for border openings. You can cross from the US to Canada if you are vaccinated and have the Canadian app on your phone to prove it. BUT , once in Canada , you have to stay there till at least Aug 21 , when the US is supposed to open the border. This is a huge mess and I would stay way away from the international boundary until it is cleared up. If you stray into Canadian waters you risk seizure of your boat and equipment. Not worth the risk Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. I have fished out of Cape Vincent If you run out by the shipping Chanel by Charity Shoal there is a deep crater. I have caught loads of Lakers there. Be careful of the border. You’re very close there and the Canadians are not being nice about crossing to their waters. If you want salmon you’ll have to run toward Galoo and beyond Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. Photos of the channel yesterday after the heavy rain The currents were very strong - it moved a lot of sand and widened the entrance which was getting very narrow.. it is passable but still not marked The inlet is constantly changing day to day. Winds and storms bring sand or take sand The channel is not marked by buoys as in past years. I doubt that any boat over 20’ can safely navigate this channel. The plus side is that it’s mostly sand. One Rock pile to starboard as you leave the pond. You may lose some paint on prop and skeg I’ve had to get out and push a few times in previous years. The water is VERY low this year. Use caution. The pond is a great place , but the inlet has some serious problems Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. Wrong. Until the restrictions are repealed border crossings are illegal by any means. And they are watching Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  9. I did that and found out the hard way to keep it away from your telescoping buttons. Had to spray carb cleaner in the holes to get them to work again Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  10. Ok to use if you’re a horse or a cow. Not for use in humans. Powerful carcinogen. Read the label Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. There are serious rocks to the left of the break wall channel. ( when coming in , or to starboard going out ) They are usually marked with buoys. I haven’t launched at Mexico yet this year so I don’t know if the buoys are in or not. I DO know you don’t want to get into those rocks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. No problem. Trim up shallowest I found was2.5. Keep between the buoys. Red , right , returning Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  15. We would see that first hand at our camp on Sandy pond. We had the pond in the back and the lake in the front. Go swimming in the evening on the lake side. Water like bath water Get up the next morning and jump in for an eye opener. And it definitely was an eye opener. Went from 70’s to low 50’s. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. I saw you at the launch. No problems getting out the channel. My sonar said 2.5 just before the Marina. Landed one 22 #. 165 ft of water down 60. Cut bait. Hooked 2 more but they got off. Tough solo when it’s kicking up Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  23. Watching your weights and baits on your sonar can be misleading. The fish on your screen are at the depths on your screen ( usually ) if they are directly under your boat. Your weights and baits are NOT at the depth on your screen. They are at that DISTANCE from your transducer. Fish the marks Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
