Yes there are several brands of fuel pump pressure testers . You might want to check with auto zone or advance ,they have loaner tools available . Not sure about pressure testers . Did you replace your pump with a marine or automotive pump ? The marine pump has a vent that goes to the carb automotive vents to atmosphere ( can you say BOOM if vapors collect in engine compartment) . You may be right about a cracked fuel line to tank . If your fuel line is leaking ,you won't have much or any pressure at the pump .

Well here's the good news. 3.0 l is not an interference engine. Valves should be ok. Also , thee is no timing chain. Gear to gear and they are phenolic (plastic) get a shop manual and if you have any mechanical skills you should be able to do the repairs yourself. Check on line for parts. Much cheaper

If the cam is not rotating You broke a timing chain or gear . break out your wallet I am not sure if the 3.0L is an interference motor or not I will check my manual and find out . If it IS You bent valves when the cam stopped rotating . Not a good scenario in ant case

Galloo Island Wind ,LLC This is the name of the new project ,under new ownership .Hudson sold out to Apex Clean Energy Holdings , LLC .Apex is filing a "notice of filing of preliminary scoping statement" .The notice is too big to include here . But, the website for Apex is :[email protected] Also it states any interested party of the public may file a request with the DPS secretary to receive all copies of notices concerning the project . Address is [email protected] . The 30 mile long 145kv AC cable to carry the power to Oswego is going to be addressed in a separate filing ( wonder why ? ) .I already requested copies of all filings . It appears this new company is trying an end around . These turbines will be in a position to affect some prime fishing waters near Henderson and the cable ( which I find even more troublesome ) will travel across Mexico Bay under the greatest Salmon and Lake trout fishery on Lake Ontario . Take a look at a chart of Lake O and lay a course from Galloo to Oswego and you will see what I mean . Hope this project gets shot down and we fisherpeople have the AAA to do it .

I try to stay away from the launches on Memorial Day. Unless I'm in the mood for a lot of laughs. Saw a guy with his new 21 bow rider try to pull the boat sideways onto the trailer. It got hung up halfway on and it took about 20 people to get it back off meanwhile a whole pack of boats circled in front of the launch waiting for the show to be over. Another favorite trick on holidays is for someone to pull up and back down the launch. Just as you are pulling up to the dock to recover. Got to love it. Learning experience

Just a little FYI on marine radios . Any vessel that has a marine radio (VHF) aboard is required by law to have it on and monitor channel 16 for emergency broadcasts .

When I went shopping for insurance , I found the difference between actual cash value and replacement value , was astronomical . It was like 450.00 for actual cash value and 1400.00 for replacement cost insurance . I think you will find actual cash value will be very low if you have a claim . Depreciation takes a big chunk out of your boat value according to the insurance industry.

Overnight. I don't think there is any set time. Too long might make them loose too much moisture

Sounds like a great idea ! Please keep us posted on how your home made cut bait works for you . Be sure to use non iodized salt for your brine. I add salt to water till it won't hold any more in suspension .

I used sardines from the fish market . First I filleted them and then made the cut bait strips from the fillets . I then brined them in kosher salt over night in the fridge . It caught fish with them , but they tend to be soft and not very durable I tried frozen smelt , but its hard to find them big enough to make the strips . I have found a source for herring and plan to try my hand ay brining these .

check the south shore fishing reports . I tried to post all the info about homemade cut bait on this thread , buy it ended up over there . These post are from 2008 when Rhys Davis got out of the cut bait business in the US

Here is the original post with all the information Let me know if you have any luck with your homemade bait .

I have experimented with grocery store fish . Sardines and smelt mostly . If you use fish from the store you must brine them before using for bait. i have a a letter from the DEC law enforcement unit stating that store bought fish can be used if you certify that they have been brined .. If you look back on my very early posts . all the information is available there . I had limited success with the experiment . The sardines are very soft and don't last .Store bought herring strips are still number 1 in my experience . It's too early for bait . You don't need it for the fish that are available now . It would be a waste of money to use bait to target oil cans {lake trout } Start using bait in late July and beyond .

http://www.syracuse.com/outdoors/index.ssf/2016/04/how_has_the_invasion_of_round_gobies_affected_upstate_ny_fishing_1.html#incart_river_home Here is an article concerning the round goby .They have reached Onieda Lake , so there is no stopping their spread . I don't buy his opinion on the effect they are having on sport fishing . The perch fishing on Lake O has been almost nonexistent for the last two years .

I always remove all the parts of trout and salmon that {according to the DEC) contain the most toxins . The belly meat ,lateral line of fat and the skin . Most of my salmon get smoked , which gets most of the fat and oil out of the fish during the smoking process. Been eating fish out of Lake O since the 50's and trout and salmon since the 70's .
