    thanks for the info, Yes its a 89 gls sea nymph.I figured 5200 was not good for this application. Will be getting it ready for shakedown soon.

    Jd, didn't know pics loaded that way, my apologies.looked normal on my computer. Now I know thank you. I think the 5200 maybe to much on the permanent side. Would like to be able to take apart if ever needed. Kevin, I'll look at boat life. Thanks for all the feedback.

    alluiminum boat splashwell needs re sealing, Should I use adhesive type product? Needs to be oil and solvent (gas) compatible. Any recommendation? Removed old caulk and cleaned up with paint thinner.

    warm water down past 100 all along wall, ran past mountain area then turned south found colder water but still deep,good marks right along 100ft over 140-130 try in amtommorrow

    Thanks for all replies, all done, now just need to find tune TD for best readings at speed.

    Going to mount a plate, and put the TD on it. The 2 or 3 rivets on bottom of hull are going to be in front of TD shouldn't cause to many bubbles. Thanks for the suggestions.

    need some tips on install of hook 2 split shot ducer. My existing one doesn't read great at speed and will be replaceing with new fishfinder. pics are of old transducer from elite 4 unit. What map card are guys running in these units? Fishing main lake and 1000 island areas

    Yes but not much. 71* on surface 44 ish down 50 to 60ft..in 300 was. Our best picture with bait and marks up high. I think mostly steelhead

    Out west towards ginna 300 250 ft all steelhead up high on spoon Sea sick wad. 1 king 15lbs. 5 steels good action

    Did lake flip down east end?any reports out of Oswego?

    Slow out in 160ft 66* surface. 42 down its 53*.screen is empty no bait or marks very slow.
