  1. Hey Greg. i dont ever grab a rod UNLESS there are handicapped in some way. I have been known to back away, point, and shout fish fish fish. When i said recover the finances for them to join the loc, i mean pay me back for doing so, not looking for winnings. That would be a bonus.
  2. Thats a great thought to use the deposit money, as long as you can recover back the funds. I will try it for the next 6 days.
  3. The second day of the loc brought out a 35.54lb monster shark. Of course my charter was too late to enter for the day. (big surprise) Then as the day wore on we beached a 13.73 steelhead, killing me. Even better, a charter captain friend of mine boated a 19.22 brown. Yes, they were not entered either. The very next day, another buddy/charter capt. lands a 25 plus lake trout. Once again no entrys. This really sucks for promoting rochester fishing, and its great captains. I called dave chilson and told him the great news, he laughed. He assured me that this happens all the time. So see whitemule, we have the fish to be on the board, but we just dont get it done. Oh well there is still time left. By the way, there is some very large salmon swimming around this year. It has been 6 years sice we have seen a class of sharks like these. Good luck!
  4. Cutco fishermans solution is by far the best knife and the most expensive you will ever use. Guaranteed for ever.
  5. Where can i get those FOX FLIES????????
  6. I always knew you were chicken farmer at heart. Thats definately a beauty. No more talking bad about those forkies. Fins, and a water tight ass, they are all good. Nice job at sandy.
  7. I agree with scott. We dont need to hear shark attacks, started with a triple, coppers on fire, no thanks. How about 200 to 275 water is hot with spoons, 3 to 5 out of the west today, temp is at 75ft in 180 today, etc, etc.
  8. Screamer, sure strike, top gun, fishin magician, high voltage, thats all i can remember matt. It was in that order. By the way fishing has been great home no matter where you go.
  9. Sorry rick, i was just a tad slow on that one.
  10. I am not trying to make go fast rick, it just seems that way. I was just thinking last night while fishing (of course) we are through half the season in 2 more weeks! Time does fly when you are having fun.
  11. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):6/30 7/1 2 3 4 Time on Water:4o hrs Weather/Temp:Waves: flat to choppy Surface Temp: 64 Location:braddocks to hedges LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: ????? too many (good problem) Total Boated:97 Species Breakdown:Kings browns lakers steelhead Hot Lure: White paddles green flys Trolling Speed: 2.5 2.7 Down Speed: same Lure Depth: 77 to 140 ====================Fishing has gone into the summer mode rather quickly. The bite has been unreal for all sorts of fish. The 2 year old kings showed up in numbers 8/2 and havent left as of today. The bait is scatterd everywhere and so are the fish. The best bite for me has been 150 to 250 ft of water. Spinnies and flys by far are the salmon preference. Steelheads and browns are chewing spoons in the upper warmer water. Deep ice water has beeen productive for the salmon as well, with lakers sprinkled in there. The water from braddocks to hedges is all the same picture, take your pick. There are some older kings around, but not in big numbers yet. Things are looking great so far. Good luck. SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ====================
  12. I bay fishing has been awesome. Fished the last three days there, and had plenty of 2 and 3 year old class salmon. There is a abundance of 3-4 year old lake trout as well. The steelhead are hiding in the warmer water, with the salmon in the deep ice water, 120 to 140 down. Not really seeing as many as we are catching down in those depths. They were chewing flys for me.
  13. There are more chemicals in a jar of peanut butter, then a properly filleted fish.
