  1. Was that a standard sized nbk? Look forward to my first king while doing this as we normally are out for browns. Guessing it'll happen sooner or later.
  2. Nice report. Gotta stop at dons after!
  3. It didn't seem real busy. Saw maybe less than 10 boats. Everyone seemed scattered. Got away from the crowd east of webster park then headed back west. Kept picking at them. I'm told that same dipsy presentation works on the fingers. A bit reluctant to try it but I think I might sooner or later.
  4. Was itching bad to get out after all that wind lately
  5. First time out. Caught 13 browns and an atlantic. First atlantic on the big pond. Had a few doubles. All released. 6 rods between my son and I was pretty exciting at times. Most fish caught were near Webster park. Also first time catching fish for on chinook diver out 15, close to the boat. Surprising they come to grab that setup so close to the boat. Caught the Atlantic with that diver setup. Started with all natural color spoons out then substituted to a couple bright bayrats and brighter spoons once I saw the murky water. Good First trip for us!
  6. FTW, Some of the warmest water of the year is in sept. I'd say that's par for the course. Rodbuster and Frogger, I've heard stories of great fishing near the discharge. Never got to experience it.
  7. Here's a big shout out to Dlott on the forum. Was looking for a spoon I couldn't find. He made some up for me. I wouldn't hesitate to order again. Some pics below of some of his work.
  8. What are the dimensions? What size spoons will fit in there?
  9. Sold pending payment
  10. Can't wait as well! Are you talking about the swing bridge?

  12. Still for sale. Good set for spring browns.
  13. Been seeing alot of snows this whole winter with the snow and thaw cycles. Canandaigua area.
  14. There's too many groups that want different dates (rich marsh hunters near montezuma, niagara river hunters, southern tier hunters, and FL hunters). Who do you think gets the dates they want??? The seasons can't be split enough to make every area happy so the January guys get screwed. The 2 weeks in January is always the best hunting of the season for FL hunters.
  15. You should look into the options at Cisco. Was able to have them make me up 90 degree mounts for my lowe. Not sure if that's a similar gunwale to mine. Came out great. I have a solid track bolted onto my boat one both sides for riggers and use the removable mounts for extra rod holders. Call them direct as they can customize. Might take a while and won't be cheap, def worth it.
  16. I used a pool noodle last year that I would store in my spoon box. I like both ideas you guys use.
  17. I think I've heard the dreamweaver and tangled tackle guys say in a couple different youtube videos that they put split rings on their bigger spoons for more action. The dreamweaver dw and ss don't come with split rings while the rest do (bigger up to magnum sizes).
  18. Yeah I'll take that from you if you don't mind. Hope to see him in Watkins glen but his email address will be good if I don't see him. Appreciate the help!
  19. Nice report. Can't wait to get out on the water. Hoping to get the boat ready in the next couple weeks. Gotta keep that first mate happy.
