    Thank you, this "port" has been home for many of us. Now that the US Army Corps has constructed a break wall you have to use this channel. And it's not safe END OF STORY !!!     I want ANYONE who knows of or has in fact run into the rocks to send a PM, I know I wasn't alone and do know there's a law suit for negligence to recoup damages to OUR boats ..... Strength in numbers people. The town of Greece screwed up big time and they need to be held accountable.     Same as every year. Funky at best and knee high by the Fourth of July. Ya but we used to be able to get through the sand now it a gunlet of old concrete and steel ... Some one will loose there life if nothing is done. Last year when I limped into the launch there was a Bayliner with his whole lower unit in the back of his pickup.     Ok so where does this end....? Did $2600 worth of damage to my boat 8/16 took contractor to court for damages and got told by Judge, Gibbs marine (the sub to the Wesson Group) whom is the US Army Corps prime. He's not responsible for the damage. I want to know who else will get hurt or killed before someone steps in and does something. Gibbs marine admits installing channel markers BEFORE dredging the channel then takes them out but this isn't negligence !?!? Now there's steel pipe sticking up in the channel WTF !     On my boat, prizes are split by the number of guys on the boat plus the boat gets a cut AFTER taxes are taken out if it is more than $600.00.     There is no "ground" on a boat..... Negative of the battery, yes. 30 years as an electrician, boats can be a real **** to troubleshoot. If the kicker doesn't have an alternator than you shouldn't have to worry Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Nothing dredged or marked.....Interesting when I wrecked my lower unit last fall it WAS marked. Wesson group denided any wrong doing by sending the public into the rocks toward the west side. If your boat was damaged last year I'd strongly advise you to file a claim against the Contractor ..... I know there were no less than 3 others beside myself because the Rochester Coast Guard sent a boat over from the river to stop anyone else from following the channel markers that were installed Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
