  5. Farm raised salmon is color enhanced through feed. Shrimp shell and crab shell is ground and added to feed to emulate their natural diet. Thats what gives them the orange flesh and why wild salmon from Alaska are Chevy orange in color. The salmon from the lake eat fish and that is why there flesh is white. They are on fact the same species of a pacific saltwater chinook and coho as Alaska. One more fact is farm raised salmon are actually highest in omega fat, more than wild so eat up!   13. 50 ft from that marker log sticking out crooked from the ice
  14. Fished 3pm to 5pm. Plenty of big keeper perch using fat heads. Ice is still safe and 7 inches thick. Can't wait to get back out!
  15. same problem on fri, worked the same water for 4 hours and picked up and moved out to 160, 70 down and did 2 matures in 30 min, go figure

Fished out of I bay today aboard my buddy's boat "Hog Tide" went 2 for 5 all cohos in 120ft 80 down on rigger and 235ft back on the wire in front of webster. white and green spin doc and glow flies. Wanted to give a big shout out and thank you! to unreel who was fishing with 2 others and offered to give us a tow when our boat broke down. So great that during a derby guys are willing to pull lines and help a fellow fisherman out. Thank god we had a towboat US membership, but I will be sure to pay it forward
