  7. Nice job. We launched right after you but decided to wait awhile cause we were in smaller boat. Fished in creek for awhile then headed out. Still pretty rough from east. Tried 10 -15 east of port with nuthin goin. We trolled with waves ending up in 20 fow and got down to pump house where we finally found some fish. We hung around that area and finished 7 for 10. 3 Kings, 3 Browns and 1 Laker. Kings were nuts darn teenagers. Good to get out. Thanx to Steve for Fishin Trip. All fish caught on spoons.
  8. Great Job. Way to brave the chill

  11. Got out at Sandy about 615. Quick solo trip got one mature and had a knockoff Marked fish and Bait about 110 fow. Calmed down nice. Hope to get out Sunday.
  12. How am I gonna know where I am out there? Like going by Russel Station now. Strange.
  13. Forgot to say this is Sandy Creek in Hamlin, NY. Sorry about confusion.
  14. Both fish hit in that 110 range. We were marking fish 70 to 90 down. I dont have temp probe. Both fish came on white paddles out 240 on 3 Setting. Go get em.
  15. Took my cousin out for a quick evening trip so see if we could get a King since hes never got one out of a boat before. Weather was iffy for my small boat being the weather guys goofed again. Anyways started setting up about 615 in 110 fow and while I was setting my second diver in first one goes screaming. After about 20 minutes fish was in boat somehow after wind and tangle issues. It was a 17 pound king. We released fish and set up again turning back into the increasing wind so we didnt get to far from port. Cousin gets a text from his girlfriend that she prayed we were not on the lake because of the Tornado watch. We laughed and decided we should head in when other diver rips and battle ensues. I turn boat to go with wind and after a hectic 15 minutes the second king comes in the boat. He was around 20 pounds. That was it we picked up evrything and did a slow ride back to the creek. Boat was on trailer at 800.pm. It was a quick hectic nite of salmon fishin but he can't wait to get out again.
  16. Nice work Brian. Great Job. Its hard to be patient when the inside bite slows down but the fish are there.
  17. Sounds like a fun mornin to me. Good work.
  18. Nice. Must have been fun fishing for the shootout today. wish I wasn't workin.
  19. I was out this mornin with Great Lakes Salt and fished out front 100-120 Fow. Nice temp break at 85 down. We got Kings going with the wind and lakers against the wind. Don't be afraid to run fake meat. I put a meat rig down off the rigger with a MC Rocket. We had a king on 5 minutes later that almost spooled us. It was a decent King about 22 pounds so I think I may have one down a little more often . It got a lil choppy for us but it was a fun mornin. White paddles were good and Carbon 14 was spoon of the day. We fished same area last weekend and did well. Temp has been good in there.
  20. That's Awesome. My 15 year old is finally getting into fishing, and I love it.
  21. Did a solo run this mornin. Fished 100-120 in front of the creek. Got 4 kings to the boat lost one. All fish hit on Riggers 90 and 100. Didn't run Divers, too hectic. East wind will change it.
  22. Just wanted to give a heads up that Brown Trout stocking in Lake Ontario is currently underway. Due to Rome Fish Hatchery having Zebra Mussels in their water supply, those fish needed to be moved out early to waters that currently have ZM populations. Brown Trout stocking is usually done in May. Several Hatcheries are helping with the stocking to get the fish out of Rome. As you fish for Browns this spring, you may notice an increase catch rate of 8 inch Browns.
