That's good to hear about the Marina. I used to fish out of there a lot for Smallie's years ago and the place was pretty beat up. I will get back there and try for the Bass later in the summer.
Nice Scott. We were out of the Oak yesterday and couldn't get a whole lot to go. If I can get out this week I'm goin out of the river. Sounds like even I can catch Kings there.
Jumped on my buddies boat at the launch about 6 PM. He was out for a couple hours and got a couple fish even though it was a lil rough for his boat. The lake wasn't too bad when I got on. He is not set up for great lakes trolling so I put out 2 flat lines and one slide diver. We found the best temp was west of the creek with nice water color, and we went 10 for 10 on Browns. Only one was decent size but we had a great couple hours. What a great way to end the day. We are gonna try again Sun. morning. Good luck to all 2 moro. Till next time. Brian
I am done with Gander. They just remodeled the store in Rochester and it is great if you want
clothing. I went in there last week for some planer board line and of course none. The selection of lures is poor and overpriced. I used up the last of a gift card and it is either mail order or Narby's from now on.
Got out yesterday morning for a quick solo trip before the wind got too bad. Fished in front of the creek and got 2 Browns and a skippy King. I was off the pond by 8:30. Hope for some better weather this week to really get out and stomp em. Brian
I have a 2 by 6 that spans gunnel to gunnel, with riggers and rodholders mounted on it. It is a popular way of mounting. Search History for more ideas.
