  11. Yes, I am guilty as charged. I was told to check for the black X spots to determine if its an Atlantic. This fish has a green stripe across the body which was an amazing color.
  12. It was a perfect ending for a great weekend. We worked in the shallows and we were rewarded with kings in the low 20#s. Spoon bites were the theme of the day(s). Saturday, with the strong SW blow, I decided to skip off-shore fishing despite the fantastic report I received with boats catching over 20 fish off shore on Friday. We ran a 4 rod spread with one buddy MIA and we started in 40 FOW and did not venture out further than 90 FOW. We did very well in the east of Ibay in 70 FOW. Went 4 for 5 with 15# king to note.. Two riggers and spoon took fish. No action on the FF nor the 10 color core set up. Sunday, we went back to the same area 70 FOW and landed Kings on spoons. Carbon 14 and any spoon with bright green colors took the beatings, We did 8 for 9 and the biggest king was 23# without the lamprey on it. Imagine the bonus if we could weight in the king with a lamprey on it. The Atlantic salmon was actually the bonus and all fish were released successfully. This could be my last trip to the lake. Best of luck to everyone with the hunting season.

  16. Good forum. Whenever I see the tree in my backyard sway back and forth by the wind, I just know it that it is not the day to venture out. Wind is not your friend. Stay safe and you will get to fish for another day!
  17. Sent you a PM
  18. Its comforting to know you are not alone! Slow weekend for us too. We were stupid enough to be out there last Saturday with the thunderstorms looming around us. Managed to hook up a small king before we headed back with a big thunderbolt striking the lake in the NE direction. Sunday - we boated two nice kings 18# and 20# front of webster in 120-140 FOW and lost three fish on dipsey set up. Hot bites were glow frog spinny on 280 wire out. Rigger took a black spoon bite from 20# king.
  19. Thank you for the excellent report! Tight lines!
  20. hello I have five reels in need of repair. Thanks
  21. Thats a nice bow that could be on the LOC board! Good luck with the tournament.
  22. Hope the kid feel better soon! We fished in Webster and did about the same on Sunday with 2 for 3. One teen king and one atlantic. Not fast and furious yet. Tight lines.
