  2. Got to love the cannonball splash by that heavy brown which was 1 oz shy of 10#. If I was that heavy I wouldn't be able to leap at all! Chris - Kudos for the great job on the video! Hope you will all learn a few things from our actions on the water!

  12. At the spur of the moment, I took my daughter out fishing in the afernoon. Fished from 4 to 7:30 pm, we started off on front of the bay in .50-60 fow. Screen showed good baits and marks yet no takers. Motored out to 350 fow. Indeed the fish were in the deep water with baits and hooks below 100 FOW. We ran riggers 100 and 115 and divers 300 and 340 out with 500'copper down the chute, Spoon bites, nk Carmel dolphin off the copper and NK Green dolphin off the diver took fish. She has landed a 7# steelhead and a 12# king. As the winds died down, the bites stopped. Seems the spoon bites were the key to catching fish. FF has been nearly nonexistent. Good luck to all in the derby & safe fishing. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
