This is a fine example of Rochester's best fishery!
Aside from the strange sighting of pirate ships zipping by our lines, we have managed to escape the curse of the black pearl which had us on the chokehold during the period of no bites with these black evil ships in our sights. Oddly enough the bites came back instantly After the image of the ghostly ships disappeared.

70' was the target minimum. Baits and hooks everywhere.
On a side note, one of our riggers was tangled up leaving us with one rigger in play. Indeed I'm responsible for maintaining tangle free presentations.

We started out in 100 fow in front of genny river. 5 rods spread. 500' copper. Riggers 80', 50' with cheater, wires 220, 240 out. Observing some of the boats heading back to the shore, I turned the boat around only to find baits. Tons of baits inside! We went 3 for 4 with steelhead, brown and a bonus: Atlantic salmon. SE TROLL TOOK ALL HITS. Lost a major king due to faulty drag. Rigger with Bob fuller KOD Spoon took 3 hits. Copper with yellow bl custom paint took big hit and broke offc resulted from a faulty drag. Hot action in front of genny and Russell. Did not venture out deep. Spent most of the morning inside waters. Overall its a great day on the water. Best of luck with LOC Derby. This is a true sea worthy vessel. I have enjoyed fishing on Rod's boat.
I am sure this will sell fast. Best of luck to both Rod and a SOON-TO-BE VERY HAPPY BUYER.

Great report Rick! You sure know how to dial into the brown trout program.
You have demonstrated that the key to success is to be able to adapt to the conditions on the lake.
Tight lines!
Chris is da Captain! Chris has proven once again that fishing for the lakers is a very good thing to do!
The Best part was when the lucky quarter hit on the floor near the rigger and then the rod popped with a nice laker on. The Same corner rigger brought us home loc fish!
Best of luck to all.
