WANTED: EZ STEERING BRACKET
Pike Hunter replied to Pike Hunter's topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
Thank you so much for the links - Windburn & Sean Y. Anthony -
Awesome report! It seem as if the current hooks are not sea worthy for these brute lake sharks. Someone has mentioned about using crazy glue to reinforce the strength of the knots holding the treble hooks. There was a thread somewhere and I ll dig into this deeper. Motoman - which brand hooks are you using now? Tight lines!

WANTED: EZ STEERING BRACKET
Pike Hunter replied to Pike Hunter's topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
Rich - it was actually the tubing excursion that has caused damages to my poor fish killing machine. The EZ steering bracket was not the only thing that was damaged, the prop on my kicker also went off somewhere in the lake. I am better off taking my kids to Darien Lake because this is very inexpensive compared to the replacing the parts. Bottom feeder - please check your PM. Thanks. -

WTG Hans. Its good to see you take out your brother for a serious Lake Ontario fishing. Not to rain on your parade, I believe your big fat laker would have placed on the LOC board. Regardless, I am confident that you and your brother had a very nice quality time fishing together. Tight lines! -
That was a real fun morning of fishing on your boat! I am very glad your boat ran fine despite the occasional alarm chirps. The best hit yesterday was hard to swallow one because when that fish took off the with 42nd spoon from the 85 rigger, I knew it was a serious big bad King as it took off like diving submarine ready to engage into a battle mode. The fish torpedoed immediately instead of the traditional fight when the fish would start swimming away from the boat and breaking out the surface. This did not happen, it just went down and down before it disappeared. It is one of those things that makes fisherman like you and I want to come back for more. By the way, my family was very happy when they saw a nice grilled steelhead and salmon fillets on their dinner plates. Thanks for the excellent adventure!

Captain Chris has done it again! We did not only just find fish but we landed them on your deadly spread. I like it when we view fishing like a baseball game wherein each inning presents you with a different challenge. We were able to recover quickly as we focus on the upcoming pitch. Each hits has turned into runs. Best part was the nice king at the end. It was like the 9th inning when the homer has saved the day. My arms are like rubber. I need to sign up for gym membership to help my arms fight the kings. Thanks Chris for the terrific fishing experience. Best of luck to participants in the pro am and open. Safe Fishing everyone. Great job on landing the kings! We had more drops while fishing east of ibay. on the good report. Tight lines! -
The captain Doc has done it again. His humbleness will never tell you when he broke the 100 mark for the number of fish he has caught this year on his boat. Talk about the speedy train, I made a bonehead move when I failed to put the net in front of the x50+ MPH salmon before it made a kamikaze move into the prop. That 11# steelhead surely has fooled me into thinking it was a 20# contender! I think it took men good 15 minutes reeling in that rascal. Quick addition. Slow troll seems to be the theme. We had numerous hits inside the rigger and the divers while the oat turned. As always I'm very thankful to LOU for meeting up a great buddy like Chris. Agent orange. Same here nice meeting ya. Safe fishing everyone!

Nice job, Ted! -
About the quick storm that passed us twice within short time, I was worried about the lightning because I was fighting the fish on the 400/500 copper. Back in my small brain, I was very thankful that I am current with my life insurance policy should anything happens. As the storm started to brew up again, that was when I gave up the fighting the fish on the copper and worked with you to clear up all of the lines and the planner boards. I must admit that I enjoyed the wild wet ride back to the dock along with the torrid rain and thunders above our head. Even my deaf ears can "hear" the booms from the thunderstorm. Moral of the story, be safe and you will be able to go back fishing anytime under clear sky. Chris- as always thanks for the great time on your boat!
