  1. Iceman, Thanks for sharing good post especially with the fish and your NY Giants hat! Were you entered into the Scotty - Oswego tournament? Most of us had a hard time getting the fish to bite during the Scotty tournament. You seem to stand out with your fishing results. Tight lines. Anthony
  2. Way to go Mark! You re making the boys of I bay very PROUD!
  3. How about creating a new thread - "Ask Ray" Disclaimer - I have not met Ray in person however I felt like I know him so well after reading his million postings. Indeed, I must be careful to tread along nicely otherwise I would get bashed so fast just like a speeding train running over a penny on the rail. Better yet - title the thread "Dont Be Afraid to Ask Ray" The poster should check off the disclaimer as this person will agree to be helped out by Ray and not take any offense by his words of widsom.
  4. Ahoy Captain Rod, Thank you for the great time on your boat. Please dont be too hard on yourself because we gave a 110% effort and we all knew how difficult fishing were for both days. We tried everything including the kitchen sink. This has been a great learning experience for me and I am sure the same goes for the rest of the crew. I look forward to fishing with the gang again in the near future. Thanks again for everything. Tight lines. Anthony
  5. 38.4# King. My guess is as good as anybody else. Indeed, this beast could be caught during the Scotty Oswego by Team Lucky Enuff. Of course, I would love to see our LOU member win the LOC derby grand prize.
  6. Hans, I typed quickly in my recent post and I had to re-read your post. Now, I want to say something "TWO 33# in ONE DAY!!!! That is one terrific experience! By the way, it was nice to see you get out with your wife last Friday. Tight lines.
  7. Chris, it has been a pleasure reading your post! With so many fish that you have brought to your boat, pictures may not matter much unless it is the 27# monster. After listening to my wife to rest my back for nearly two weeks, we went out for three hours with just one rigger. Without explaining why or what, I spent an hour working on the darn rigger and finally got it to run. Then, I couldnt find the torpedo weight. This happens when you re away from your boat for a while. Saw many bait and fish between 180 and 240 FOW. Just one hit -as a buddy fought fish on 500' copper with gator spin doc and atomik green crinkle fly before he lost the fish. Had to head back to take care of the rug rats. tight lines.
  8. Thanks for posting a great report. Very helpful for tmw am. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

  16. Holy Moly, you continue to fill in the blanks with great fishing reports! In my case, I am under an order from someone with a medical background, which is to rest my sore back. Talk about checking the website to find out whats going on in our stomping ground while sitting behind the monitor. This makes me a desktop fisherman! Best of luck tomorrow. Keep the reports coming! As always, keep the lines tight.
  17. Thanks for sharing awesome photo! Tight lines.
  18. When growing up in Long Island, I have done many fishing at nights. Last year, I have read an article about full moon fishing for the kings in Lake Michigan (?). I have seen a boat gone out trolling for kings during full moon last summer when I was riding back to the dock. I am curious to find out how many of you have done this. Please describe your techniques such as type of glow spoons and how far down the rigger and the length between the lure and the ball. Tight lines.
  19. Ahoy Rich, At least you kicked the skunk off the boat! Any report is always useful regardless of whether you catch a fish or not. It is up to the reader to form a game plan based on the reports from our fellow fisherman. I played poker game last night and I wished I was out there on the lake on a near full moon. This brings up a new topic - hunting for kings on full moon. Good luck this weekend.
  20. I am not sure if this is the right thread to post this. I thought about putting this under comic. I am not sure if anyone of us at LOU would mourn a loss of a CARP! What a joke! http://gmy.news.yahoo.com/vid/14900545
