SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS
====================
Great morning on lake o outta fhaven. Headed north to 40ft after seeing all the promising salmon reports all over the south shore. Hit 65ffow. 1st king hit down 40ft on a carbon 14 . And it was non stop for the next 2 hrs. Few doubles and a triple. A few teenagers in the mix. But a great morning. Mostly a rigger bite but a few shots on dipsies out 100-130. All spoons for us. Quit around 1130 . Lake was getting grumpy. But 4 man crew was happy. Get out here to enjoy this great spring fishery we have. TIGHT LINES.and good luck

thanks Gentlemen - always a bonus to wet the line anytime in the winter, icing on the cake, to catch a few of them.
Our productive depths were 80 - 120ft. 10 - 60ft down.
Get out and enjoy our great fishery in CNY
Took a day off from work and made a trek to Seneca this am with a fishing buddy. We were pleasantly greeted to calm waters on the south end.
Slow but nice pick at a few salmon and couple browns.
Black and silver sticks off the boards and couple dodger flies on the wires drew the nibbles.
Can't wait to get the big boat out for the 2012 season.
Good luck and tight lines to you all!
Batch of trolling spoons - smaller ones used in fingerlakes.
Some suttons, alpenas, honybees, m stingers, mooseloks, needlefish, cleos included.
85 spoons for $100 plus shipping.
lots of boats and shore fishermen out of taughannok park today. Very nice fishy day with the warmer temps and light winds early. Strong NW winds kicked up around 3pm. Good day on the water as landlock salmon were snapping at our trolled stickbaits. Looked like most boats were moving rods also.
Mike we like 8 - 10 ft behind the dipsys. When fish are on the feed. It seems to bring them in our spread. I usually have one setup out at all times. When they are close to the bottom try the rigger right above them. Good luck

Mike. Large green and glow echip w green head cut bait. 4 ft behind paddle. Very consistent producer for me from July till mid sept. 20 ft behind rigger weight. And even behind dipsies.
