Fishing Report ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):6/15 Time on Water:6am-11am Weather/Temp:Sunny Wind Speed/Direction: west 10-15mph Waves: 2ft - nice salmon chop Surface Temp: 63 Location: straight out =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 12 Total Boated: 9 Species Breakdown: Kings Hot Lure: Dolphin Stinger, Glow Frog, Green Dot Sd and Jhammer fly Trolling Speed: 2.6 Down Speed: 2.3 Boat Depth: 120-200 Lure Depth: 50-80 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Took a nice day off from work to get back up to Olcott to retrieve my boat and repaired trailer, and throw a few lines out with a couple fishing buddies. Very nice morning out on the water. Spotty bites but worked a couple waypoints in front in 150-190 fow and managed a few fish. Mag Spoons took our bigger bites down 70-80. 400 copper with a SD and fly generated a couple more. Great fishing port to fish out of, friendly people, hospitality and always seem to get some nice bites out of here. Thanks to Jim at the Boat Doctors for repairing my boat trailer quickly, and giving me an excuse to get back out fishing to Olcott. Tight Lines to you all.

Thanks all. Mark - nice meeting ya guys at Olcott. Very nice port and town to fish out of and have the fish cooperate . maybe will see you guys in Oswego this summer and fall. the Spring BT fishery has been spectacular this year. Can't wait to see the Kings in OTOWN Tom - Our ATOMMIK fly bites produced some of our bigger fish. Especially Hammer glo. -

Very nice report and pics Cant wait for the big push of the kings eastward. Won't be long before they show up at your port. Looking forward to making a couple trips to the OAK. Awesome summer and fall fishery there. Tight Lines -
Got out for an annual memorial weekend fishing trip out west to Olcott this year with couple fishing comrades. Great fishing conditions - Overcast, very light winds on Sat and Sunday. Memorial AM was very foggy with short visibility which made it very stressful out there with too close for comfort encounters with a couple other boats and a freighter. Fishing has tremendously improved with consistent catches of Kings, cohos and couple steelhead all 3 days. We fished the top 60ft over depths of 200-400fow. Cores, Dipsys, and Riggers/sliders were deployed to entices the fish. It was mostly a spoon bite , but took a couple nice kings on Spinnies and Atommik Flies, and even Cut Bait. Lots of the fish were jam packed with big alwives and some shiners. We tried some Mag spoons got most of our hits on regular size dw's and stingray size stingers. Consistent green colors all 3 days, NBK's, Gators, and Diehards took 90 percent of the fish. Good luck and get out there! Tight lines to you all.

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: CRUZ CONTROLL ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):5/1-5/5 Time on Water: 6am - 2pm Weather/Temp: Sunday- Wed am (Rainy/Cold) , Thurs (sun/ cooler) Wind Speed/Direction: E/NE sun tues, NW,W mon, wed, thurs Waves: 1-3's Surface Temp: 40-47 Location: Niagara Bar sun - Wed, Olcott Thurs =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total boated/hits : sun 1/2, mon 2/3, tues 10/15, wed 11/14, Thurs 10/16 (olcott) Species Breakdown: 3 Kings, Cohos, Lakers, Browns Hot Lure: Orange/silver evil eyes, dolphin, frog, shiner stingers, gfr & firetiger rapalas Trolling Speed: 2.0-2.4 Boat Depth: 10ft-300ft Lure Depth: surface - 180ft fown over 300 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Well gentlemen, wanted to report on our Niagara LOC trip this year. Had very high hopes as in prior years in scoring on multiple King action. Mother nature had other plans as last week's winds/ storms and rains turned the Niagara Bar region into a muddy playground. Not for lack of Marks on the fishfinder as this was constant screen action throughout the whole trip in the deeper waters 40-200fow. I guess that's why we call it FISHING. The Fish are there, they were just not on the feed. When the water clears and these fish do decide to turnon - it will be mayhem for all the lucky fishermen who are there when this happens. Needless to say we had to work for our fish boated. We had ever changing winds from E /NE to NW to E back to NW/W. Could not find a consistent Program out deeper 40ft - 300ft. We did find 1 nice patch of off colored water on Tues in 45 fow off the red can that yielded a bunch of lakers , 2 kings and few cohos. The only constant program we found was the inshore fishery off 4 mile on Wed and Olcott area on Thursday AM as we landed numerous Browns, a steelhead, and a mid sized King in the off colored shallow waters. Overall had a nice fishing trip like always, off from work , with good friends, good eats and good drinks. Good luck to all in the LOC and upcoming tournaments and TIGHT LINES!
