  1. I will add I am planning on going fishing on Sunday morning. Tomorrows forcast is for 2-4's. Sunday looks like the day for me.
  2. What is the chance that I can go dipsy only off of Rochester. I will most likely launch at I-bay. My riggers are so far packed away in my attic I don't want to go and dig them out. I am thinking 2 guys 4 rods with dipsy's. Good or bad idea? I am too lazy to pull all the stuff out of the way to get my riggers.
  3. Many "eyes" to be had with the same setup as above. Try around the TI bridge west to large FL Green marker 209 (across from the Torch Motel on the island). The water is about 20' to 100' in a very short span and the current is ROCKING!! The fishing there is fantastic. Doug
  4. i left the fall box and the rigger balls at home for the first time ever. l figured a big mistake. i watched a bunch of boats go 0 for 0 from i-bay to the river. then was not too pissed and ended up trolling the south end of i-bay and got a 28? pike. the water in the lake is gin clear down to 30'+ and 61.6 on the surface. typed from my ps3 game system so caps are off and typing is tough. heading out tues mrng.
  5. Strippers will come to your camp from Syracuse or Utica trust me on this one. You should be able to find plenty of cabins for your event. You just need to figure out what part of the park you are going to stay. From Tug Hill to Old Forge you can find plenty of places and the strippers are more than willing to drive to your place. I know you said that is not your bag but, I would say it is a must for a woods party. What part of the park are you looking at for a cabin?
  6. I believe the rock your asking about is actually Rigney Rock. It's located about 1000' off shore from the Dewey Ave. / Lakeshore Dr. intersection in about 12' -15' of water. The rock your calling Turtle Rock is located off of the East side of Summerville off the point. Neither rock has a buoy as no one wants to take responsibility for them. Once the USCG marks an obstruction they now have ownership of it so , they don't mark them. In most cases, you will never have to contend with either of these rocks unless your trolling in very close in the spring or water skiing in the summer. Other than that you should be farther off-shore with your vessel. On the other hand, if your looking to fish around that rock for bass you can't miss it. As long as the water has some clearity to it you will see it all the time. I used to use it a jet ski turn in days past and it is no problem to spot. I am sorry I don't have lat/lon for it but I did get you VERY close to where you can find it. Doug
