    Double thick transom and battery box replacement as they were all rotten. Got pics if want to see them?

    Clint at Samson marine did my 94 255 intruder back in spring of 2013. Around 9k, but worth it. Stringers, transom and tank stringers up to captains chair all replacement. Plus other small mods I wanted done. Do it right the first time.

    I went from a 18 foot jet boat to a Penn yan 255 intruder. Pratice and go for it. I love mine!

    Good job. Tip on steering by yourself or when everyone is cat napping. Bungee cord steering wheel for resistance. Poor man's auto pilot.

    84 lumber has 4x8 sheets in different thickness or use lowes/home Depot stuff. All pvc and won't ROT.
