  1. My Fishhawk 840 experience is similar to TB's. I contacted their customer service for support..... "shure, we'll look at your 840. Just send it (display/x-ducer/probe) to us with $100 and we'll let you know if we can do anything with it". I've got a plan for what they can do with it. .... The X4 may be a great product, but after the 1st go round I won't purchase their products. My 840 ate batteries, was unreliable past 80 or 90 FOC, and had a display that would not display complete numbers on a hot dash in August. (The numbers became incomplete characters, missing "segments" in the display.)
  2. 40 lb male, but Not a salmon....... He came from my favorite spot.... 30 FOW in front of Jerry's place!
  3. Congratulations Paul ...... and relay the same to Christie. You'll need to buy side x side treestands, a couple new shotguns, the list goes on and on..... It's great! You'll have Dylan rolling around the deck in a walker at 1YO, so you gotta childproof the back of the boat too!
  4. Tonight while fishing out of Sandy, we caught a very small Juvi king....... like NK Mag size......It was much smaller than the "shakers" of the year. Maybe 1/3 their size. I was in such a hurry to get the little bugger back into the water that I didn't admire it much.... so I never looked at it's fins for any kinds of clips (or lack of clips). Was it a "natural" fish? Anybody else run into guys like this? I'm certain it was a king.......
  5. Rosie bellies tell part of the story! Let's hear the rest......
  6. Hey Paul .... No Pro-AM for us..... if we show up, it'll be for the Friday event. If I'm understanding you correctly, we'll need to sign up for that by the night before (Thursday night)? Last year we signed up at 6AM on Friday morning.......at the Slippery Sinker. BTW, Nice bird.......
  7. Rob, I fished in front Wednesday evening, and marked some fish in 80 - 100 FOW. We took 2 kings (26 and 28 lbs), one steelie, and lost 2 other fish. The fish were mostly stuck to the bottom, and cut bait (filleted herring) took the 2 kings out of 90 FOW, 107 down and 95 down...... the steelie took a yellow SD/ no see um fly out 270 on a "2 1/2 " wire diver. There were not a ton of marks, just enough to keep your interest. It was a the kind of picture that the meat usually works well on..... from 75 - 95 down, temps varied from 55F to 63F....... I probably won't be back out until Saturday PM...... weather permitting.
