  1. Rolmops- I’m redoing my helm over the winter. I ended up going with all Simrad units. I have a Garmin 93 UHD 93sv (2 or 3yrs old) with GT56UHD Transducer I specifically used this unit as a chartplotter I will have this up for sale if you are interested. The transducer is still on the boat but I have the unit at home. I can get the demo mode going. It will control your autopilot and has NMEA2K. No radar capability
  2. Great sinkers. Excellent quality.
  3. Yep. Warm water is inside. This will change with winds/currents etc but will give you an idea of what’s going on. Without a fish hawk/sub troll you will have to look for bait and marks and fish them. I will say that we have taken several decent fish this year way out of temp. In the warm water above the cold water. Keep in mind that as we progress through August and into September, temp will become less important for the staging kings. Structure often times becomes more important for these staging fish.
  4. There is an information/data buoy off Oswego in 65/70’ of water. The buoy has a temp chain that reads temp every 3 meters of depth. here is a link. Seagull Buoy Data
  5. If you want to “stack” a spoon over F/F or meat you are better off putting the stacked bait on a separate rod. Stacking on the same rod would get pretty messy with a greater chance of losing the fish, especially if the stacked spoon gets hit. Not worth it. Run a separate rod.
  6. I typically run mainline leads 20-35’ and stack mag spoon 10’ above using a 6’ - 8’ leader.
  7. Pay pal is fine. Please send me your address. I’ll get a shipping cost estimate

  9. Dany’s Marine Canvas. he’s on River St. super guy and does great work. Had my enclosure replaced this spring. Very pleased.
  10. Absolutely. It definitely sucks being on the receiving end like I was last year. I was fortunate that it happed at the dock and no one was hurt. Plus my insurance company took real good care of me. We put our heart & soul into our boats and it’s heartbreaking when something like this happens.
  11. So get this… My Pursuit sunk 7/14/23. This boat sunk 7/14/24. Wow. 2 boats I owned sunk on the same day. Thank God my Aquasport is on the trailer now!
  12. That’s it then Gary. I used that boat for 3 months last year after my Pursuit sunk. Just wanted something to keep fishing lol. Sold it to a guy in Bergen. Never took the name off the back.
  13. Was that this boat?
  14. Since divers are not a stealth tactic I’m not so concerned about the line diameter. I usually run a 6-8’ 40lb fluorocarbon leader. I will occasionally run a 50lb mono leader as I feel it provides some give/stretch. I do not use snubbers.
  15. I second RTE 18. Jon has a nice selection there
  16. Thanks Rich. Here is the website I use for the bouy data… Oak Orchard Bouy Data Great info. Definitely helps eliminate dead water. I wish the bouy offshore of Rochester had the temp at depth data as well.
