eggs, kwikfish, minnows, pink worms, yarn flies.. blah blah... pretty much anything that catchs steelhead in the tribs will get u fish on the niagara...

' The DR also marks speed slower than actual by .5 to .6 mph.
not to sure why people get hung up on what model reads faster or slower.. the point of the unit is to reproduce the same speed your catching fish at.... to each his own i guess... i prefer the DR myself

Chrome Slayer - your pictures are amazing. I see you use a Nikon D90 camera. How do you like it? What different lenses do you have? I am really impressed by the quality of pictures you continue to post. Oh and nice fish by the way
absolutly love the camera.. worth every penny... i have the 18-105mm VR, 70-300mm VR, and a 50mm prime for lenses

so you guys are saying between 18" and 4 feet. Thats a pretty wide range. I guess it depends on the mood of the fish. I was looking for a general rule of thumb for Lake O. Im guessing 2 feet?
21-24 is prolly what most run.... very very seldom do i run anything over 24in on a 8in attractor

SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS
====================
fished the inside waters for almost 2hrs before the boat traffic got out of control... first pass through was the best in the skinny water 60-80fow... LOTS of fish in there!!! boat traffic seemed to push them out and down to the bottom so we burned out the 27n line and set up again and pointed it north... worked the 27-28n line for the next few hrs and put a pretty good beating on them... matures, 3yr olds, and a pile of steel

Slippery Sinker in Olcott did have them the other day... its Ice season most bait places should have Emeralds... Feather and Fur Baitshop in Wilson also reported they had them as well
